Vegas Notes

- There are four games that really stand out as great all-around fantasy options. Warriors-Suns (216), Kings-Wolves (218), Clippers-Pelicans (213.5), and Celtics-Wizards (210.5)

- No shocker here, Warriors are the highest projected scoring team. (112) OKC has a 107 team total, which might be overlooked tonight.

- Heat-Knicks have just a 187 team total, essentially ruling itself out for fantasy options, outside of one tournament shot.

- Blowout concern tonight, just the Rockets sitting at -10.5 favorites.

Point guard is loaded tonight, but Steph Curry still stands out as my favorite cash game option. This is the biggest total on the slate, and Phoenix should be able to keep this game fairly close. Phoenix is allowing on average a 24-5-7 line to opposing point guards, and allowing the 8th highest field goal percentage. We know what we are going to get from Curry night in and night out, and with a 112 team total, he is a guy I am locking into my lineups. He ranks 3rd in usage rate, and is on a historic pace shooting the ball. He is pricey, but has hit 3x value each time this season, and 4x 63% of the time.

I love James Harden first of all, but I am concerned with the blowout, and I can't fault you for playing him in cash games. Eric Bledsoe deserves to be on a top tier level at shooting guard, because he is matching Harden for consistency. He has hit 4x value just 3% less than Harden this season. Even when he is shooting the ball poorly, he is a solid peripheral producer, which is what we aim for in cash games. He is averaging 23-4-6 on the season, with nearly two steals per game. Golden State ranks 22nd in fantasy points allowed to opposing shooting guards, and Phoenix comes in with one of the higher team totals on the night.

With no Demarcus Cousins tonight, expect Rondo and Rudy Gay to take over just like last game. The Kings used just three bench players, and Gay found himself at the 3 and the 4 in the last game. I expect the same tonight, and his floor/ceiling are tremendous for the price. Gay is shooting 47% from the field this season, and has shot 20+ times in the last two games. This pace should continue while Cousins is out, especially if he is shooting 62% in those two games. Gay's usage is on the rise without injuries, and with the team total at 109, you have to expect Gay to be a big part of that.

It is hard to get away from Kevin Love in cash games right now, or in any formats really. Kevin Love's usage rate is up from the 2014-2015 season, and Lebron James has kept his word of getting him more involved. Love stretches the floor, and can dominate down low, making him a versatile threat on offense. Love is shooting 51% in the last five games, averaging 24/11. Charlotte is a poor rebounding team, and struggle against opposing power forwards. They rank 18th in fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards, allowing them to shoot 46%. If I am grabbing one player from this game, it is Kevin Love.

Hawks

380.9519.522.239.69936.1

Salary: FD: $7,800 DK: $7,200

We have been targeting centers against Atlanta for most of the season so far, and there is no stopping now. They are allowing the 4th most fantasy points to opposing centers, and can't rebound to save their lives. They rank 26th in rebound differential, and allow the 5th most rebounds to opposing centers. Marc Gasol is in a great spot tonight, especially at home. He is averaging 7 more fantasy points when playing at the Grind House. Outside of Gasol's last game, he has been a steady floor center, paying off his average price tag. If Randolph continues to sit out, he will get a slight offensive/rebound bump.

Value Plays

Jeff Green (SF - MEM) FD: $4,800 DK: $5,100

Jeff Green is starting to creep up in price, but still sitting at a very nice value price. I will give him a pass against San Antonio for his down game, but is averaging 14 and 6 in the last five games. If Randolph sits again, Matt Barnes is a cheaper version, and you can also toss Evan Turner into the mix.

Tristan Thompson (PF - CLE) FD: $5,700 DK: $6,000

Timofey Mozgov is questionable tonight, so we should eye his status, but if he sits, Tristan Thompson is in play again. You can tie all the reasons I love Love to Thompson in this matchup, outside of him being a usage scorer. He has logged big minutes the last three games, 34,37, and 40, with double-digit rebounds in the last four games.

Kosta Koufos (C - SAC) FD: $4,000 DK: $4,500

DeMarcus Cousins is doubtful, and Kosta Koufos stepped into a bigger role last game. Sacramento used just three bench players in that game, two of them guards. They are extremely shallow down low, forcing Koufos to play big minutes. For his price, he has a steady floor tonight, coming off of a 14 and 9 game. In the last five games, Minnesota ranks dead last in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers.

Tony Parker (PG - SA) FD: $5,500 DK: $5,300

Is Tony Parker back on the map for fantasy? You betcha. He draws a great matchup against Denver tonight, who rank 3rd in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards. The biggest thing for Parker has been minutes, he is finally seeing them. He is averaging 28 on the season, but 31 in the last five games. He is averaging 14-2-5 this season, which is trending upwards by the day. His price puts him as my favorite value PG tonight.

On board with all these plays. Hard for me to come off cheap guys like Parker in cash, especially with a few key pieces sitting out for San Antonio.

I am all on the Parker train tonight. Also love Zach LaVine if Rubio is out.
