Vegas Notes

- Jazz-Pelicans, Hawks-Spurs are the lower scoring games tonight, so you will want to limit your selections from those games, with totals under 196.

- Possible blowout concerns tonight, Warriors -14, Cavs -10, Mavs -9, Blazers -8.

- Highest scoring team outside of the Warriors goes to Dallas.

Lakers

Salary: FD: $9,400 DK: $9,100

We saw Damian Lillard torch the Lakers just a few games ago, making him an easy cash game play at point guard tonight. The Lakers rank 28th in defensive efficiency, and are dead last in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards. They are allowing 9.8 assists from opposing point guards, and 23 points to go along. Lillard is a consistent floor player, especially with his usage rate up over 30% this season, and against the Lakers we know his ceiling. Despite shooting 4-22 last game, had had over 40 fantasy points on both sites. Look for him to light it up again this evening.

Salary: FD: $7,500 DK: $7,000

Shooting guard is not a fun position tonight, and also note C.J. McCollum is in play. I just did not want to list the whole Portland team. DeMar DeRozen is logging big minutes for Toronto, averaging 36 minutes per game. DeRozen has scored 20+ points in four of the last six games, and has a great matchup against Washington, who has struggled defensively this season. In the last ten games, Washington ranks last in fantasy points allowed to opposing shooting guards, and 22nd in defensive efficiency. DeRozen has a 30 fantasy point floor, but is the likely SG for more upside.

Hawks

361.2315.625.435.910044.3

Salary: FD: $8,900 DK: $8,400

This is Kawhi Leonard's team now, and we are seeing it in our fantasy world. He is averaging 22 points, 8 boards, and 3 blocks+steals per game this year. His defensive stats add to his floor/ceiling, as he consistently delivers 35+ fantasy point outings each night. Leonard is shooting 51% from the field this year, and with his volume of shots rising this year, he has put together an all-around game. Atlanta ranks 26th in rebound differential, so his eight boards per game should easily be reached. It is hard to see a matchup slowing down Leonard right now.

Projection

Kings321.1017.716.943.911735.2

Salary: FD: $7,700 DK: $7,400

Grabbing a piece from this Golden State team is a must in cash, and I am going with the better points-per-dollar play from this team. Draymond Green is a walking triple-double threat each night at the power forward spot. He is coming off of one, going 14-10-10 last night. He is averaging 13-8-6 this season, and is also a defensive machine. Sacramento ranks 24th in defensive efficiency, and fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards. Green just missed out on a triple-double last time against the Kings, and for his price, he is one of my favorite PF's tonight. Kevin Love is also up there in the rankings, but was a repeat call from last night.

Mason Plumlee (C), Blazers

Projection

Lakers

301.002016.543.610630

Salary: FD: $6,200 DK: $6,000

Mason Plumlee is one of the safer center options tonight, squaring off against one of the worst defenses in the league, if not the worst. They rank dead last against centers in fantasy points allowed, so you can see why Plumlee and Lillard are easy plugins tonight. Lakers rank 27th in rebound differential, which means Plumlee is a likely candidate to grab his fourth straight double-double. Just with no other options up top tonight, Plumlee is the guy.

Value Plays

Deron Williams (PG - DAL) FD: $6,500 DK: $5,800

Deron Williams has been quietly good this season, especially at these prices. He has crept up in salary on FanDuel, but still a solid value play. He will square off against Denver, who rank 28th in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards. It is a great matchup for him, and outside of his matchup against Mike Conley, he has scored 30+ fantasy points in four of the last five games. Ish Smith is another solid value point guard tonight in the same price range.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (SG/SF - BKN) FD: $4,200 DK: $4,400

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is earning his minutes of late, seeing 31,31, and 28. This is good news for us, as RHJ is a peripheral producer with a small price tag. He is averaging two steals in the last five games, also averaging 9 and 6. He is not a high volume shooter, but is shooting 50% from the field. He is one of the few options this cheap.

Julius Randle (PF - LAL) FD: $5,700 DK: $5,900

When the Lakers are not getting blown out, Randle hovers around 30 minutes, and has been fairly productive this season. Portland ranks 24th in the last ten games in fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards. He is averaging 11 and 9 this season.

Love all the plays. Going to be hard to get away from Lillard tonight.
