Vegas Notes

- Warriors have the highest projected total on the night, and although none are listed below, Steph Curry and Draymond Green are your first options.

- Memphis, Portland, and Denver are the only teams under 100 projected team totals, but still sit in a good spot for offense.

- I feel safe targeting from each team tonight in cash games.

Salary: FD: $9,300 DK: $8,700

Over the last ten games, Cleveland has allowed the 10th most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards. Damian Lillard has a 31% usage rate this season, averaging 19 shot attempts per game. As expected, Lillard has carried an extremely high floor this season, regardless of matchup. He has reached a level of being a safe cash game option each night. Even with Curry and Westbrook going tonight, I prefer going Lillard, and grabbing another tier one player. He is averaging 24-4-7 this season, and facing off against Mo Williams, I like his odds of hitting those numbers.

It is another great matchup for Nikola Vucevic, who has seen around 30 minutes in the last five games. He is averaging 14 and 9 in that span, and now faces a poor Denver front court. Denver has allowed the 7th most fantasy points per game to opposing centers, with a 61 FG%. Denver is an average rebounding team, at best. Orlando has a sneaky high total, and Vucevic's price is still sitting fairly low. Vuc is shooting 49% this season, and 47% in the last five games. Vuc doesn't have extreme upside, but has a safe cash game floor, and what should be an easy double-double night.

Derrick Favors had a 30% usage rate in his last game, going off for 35 and 13. Of course he had some overtime help, but still has above 40+ fantasy points at the end of regulation. The Kings have rank 28th in defensive efficiency, and 5th most fantasy points per game allowed to opposing power forwards. They have also given up the 10th most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. Where ever Favors lines up, he will be in a good spot. Favors is averaging 17 and 9 this season, shooting 55% from the field. I love the Jazz big two tonight.

Salary: FD: $10,800 DK: $10,600

James Harden continues to be the easiest cash game play, especially at the SG position. He is averaging 29-6-6, with 1.8 steals per game this campaign, which no other SG can rival. He went for 23-6-9 against Brooklyn earlier this season, which is fairly standard this year. Brooklyn has given up the second most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards, allowing the most steals per game as well. I also like C.J. McCollum at a cheaper price tag, as Cleveland really struggles on defense versus opposing shooting guards. They have given up the 11th most fantasy points per game.

Gordon Hayward (SF), Jazz

Projection

@Kings

370.8819.824.632.910232.5

Salary: FD: $6,700 DK: $7,000

Paul George is my favorite SF on the slate, but Gordon Hayward is starting to turn it on, scoring 20+ real points in five of the last seven games. He is shooting 44% from the field in the last four games, averaging 22-4-4. His price is starting to trend upwards, but still at a decent value level. Sacramento is allowing the 2nd most fantasy points per game to opposing small forwards, and with Hayward looking like his 2014 self, I will roster him all day in cash.

Value Plays

Elfrid Payton (PG - ORL) FD: $6,800 DK: $6,400

I feel comfortable rostering Elfrid Payton at these prices against the Nuggets in cash. Denver is allowing the second most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards, just a shade behind the Lakers. Payton is averaging 15-7-4, shooting 47% in the last five games. If you are looking to go even cheaper, Patrick Beverley is in play as well.

Rodney Stuckey (SG - IND) FD: $5,000 DK: $4,700

Indy will need some scoring off the bench this game, and Rodney Stuckey has brought exactly that. He is averaging 30 minutes in the last five games, 15 points, and five boards. He has 10+ shot attempts in the last four games, and sitting at these prices, I love him as a value play.

Trevor Booker (PF - UTA) FD: $4,000 DK: $4,600

Trevor Booker came through with a double-double against Indy, battling through an illness. Much like the rest of the value PF, minutes can be unreliable, but he should hover around 25. I will continue to pick on Sacramento each day of the week.

Will Barton (SG - DEN) FD: $5,700 DK: $5,900

Gary Harris looks to be doubtful again tonight, and Will Barton will not draw the start, but has averaged 30 minutes in the last six games. He is shooting 44% from the field, averaging 15 points and 7 boards.

I can't get off the Hayward bandwagon in cash games. Well done.
