Vegas Notes

- Much like the other night with Houston-OKC, the Wizards-Thunder matchup is far and above the rest of the field tonight. This game has a 222 total, and is your top offensive game.

- Kings-Bucks, Cavs-Pacers, and Raptors-Nuggets are the other three games with totals over 205, and competitive spreads.

- Spurs are favored by 16 tonight against the Magic, making this game out of play for cash games.

- Bulls and Magic have totals below 95 tonight, so target elsewhere.

Depending on the site, Kyle Lowry is either over $2,000 cheaper than Russell Westbrook, or just a shade under. I love the discount down to Lowry, but certainly both are in play. Lowry is averaging 21-5-5 in the last five games, also averaging two steals per game. Denver has allowed the 5th most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards, and rank in the bottom half in steals allowed. Lowry is averaging monster minutes of late. 38 in the last five games. You can pony up the dough for Westy, but Lowry can help achieve a more balanced lineup.

I am in love with the Bucks tonight, starting with Khris Middleton. Sacramento has allowed 108 points per game, ranking last in the NBA, and also play with the highest pace. The Kings lack of defense, and high pace create insanely high scoring games for themselves, as well as their opponents. Milwaukee has a juicy 105 total tonight, and have options at each position. My favorite is Middleton, who is averaging 18-5-5 in the last five games. Sacramento has allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards this season.

Kevin Durant was headed for a 60+ fantasy point game against Washington last time out, before going down with an injury. He posted a 14-10-4 line in just 16 minutes. He is your top small forward option tonight, and is the high priced player I want the most. Washington has a glaring weakness against small forwards, allowing the most fantasy points per game, as well as the highest FG%. Averaging 32-9-5 in the last five games has been an insane run that has got lost a little bit. Go ahead and get yourself some Durant.

Mavs321.2526.724.545.510140.0

Salary: FD: $8,400 DK: $8,200

Paul Millsap is my top option at PF tonight, even though this slate offers the services of Anthony Davis. Millsap was putting up 40+ fantasy point games night in and night out, before leaving with an ankle injury two games ago. He played 36 minutes against Miami last night, so no concerns about the ankle for me. Millsap is averaging 14-9-2, with 3.6 blocks+steals per game, even with a bum game against Miami and a 13 minute game mixed in. That's how good he was before. He gets an above-average matchup tonight against Dallas, who have allowed the 11th most fantasy points per game to opposing PF in the last ten games. Dallas also ranks 25th in rebound differential, and have allowed the 9th most steals to power forwards per game.

Salary: FD: $6,300 DK: $5,800

Center is the spot to pay down for tonight, and Zaza Pachulia catches my eye in this matchup. Atlanta has allowed the 4th most fantasy points per game to opposing centers, and rank dead last in rebound differential. Pachulia missed a few games, but has looked rejuvenated in the last two. He has put up 9 and 15, and 16 and 12 in two to games. Definitely achievable numbers again, especially if he sees over 30 minutes like the last two games. A double-double is close to a lock tonight, or at least a monster rebounding game, like we saw in the last matchup where he snagged 17 boards.

Value Plays

Jeff Teague (PG - ATL) FD: $5,600 DK: $5,500

Jeff Teague's play has been solid of late, but his price tag on both sites makes him one of the best points-per-dollar plays tonight. He is averaging 12-2-5 in the last six games, with 1.8 steals per game. The minutes are the most frustrating part of the Teague play, but 25-28 minutes is where you will usually find him. He has a 0.99 fantasy points per minute, so whatever he plays for minutes tonight will be his fantasy point outcome.

Jeff Green (SF - MEM) FD: $5,500 DK: $5,300

All the Jeff value plays tonight, as Jeff Green is in the midst of a major hot streak. He is averaging 20-4-1 in the last five games, shooting 55% from the field. He has shot over 60% in each of the last three games. I am not sure if it was the callout from his teammates, but Green has been a much more attacking player lately. Look for him to continue against a subpar New Orleans' defense.

Jabari Parker (PF - MIL) FD: $5,200 DK: $5,300

Both Jabari Parker and Myles Turner are great value big men tonight, but I will talk about the one you likely know less about. Parker is averaging 12-7-2 in the last five games, shooting 55% from the field, and averaging 1.8 blocks+steals per game. He is also playing big minutes, averaging 35 minutes a game in that span. Sacramento has given up the 7th most fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards.
