Vegas Notes

- Denver vs Utah has the lowest total on the night at 195

- Orlando vs Oklahoma City, Golden State vs Washington, Minnesota vs L.A Clippers, and New Orleans vs San Antonio are all games that have blowout potential.

- Boston vs Detroit and Bulls vs Kings look like the safest games to target on the night.

It would be very easy to stick Westbrook or Curry here, but I think CP3 is another guy who is a great cash play tonight. He has done an excellent job carrying the Clippers offense ever since Griffin has gone down with injuries. He has hit at least 40 fantasy points in 7 out of his last 10 games. He will be going up against the T'Wolves tonight who have given up the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing Point Guard this year. The T'Wolves will also be playing their 2nd game of a back to back set, so Paul could take advantage of a tired Rick Rubio. Vegas has this game as a potential blowout, but I see the T"Wolves putting up a fight in this game, which will allow CP3 to get his minutes.

Jimmy Butler is always a very safe cash play with the potential to go off on any night. He will be going up against the Kings tonight in what should be a fast paced and high scoring game. The Kings have just not been able to find any answers on the defensive side of the basketball. They have allowed an average of 108.7 PPG to opposing teams, which ranks highest in the NBA. They have also allowed 23.4 PPG to opposing Shooting Guards, which also ranks highest in the NBA . With the match up that Butler has tonight, I think that he could have a real nice game for the Bulls as well as your fantasy team.

With DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo battling injuries and questionable for tonight's game, Rudy Gay is definitely a guy to target. The offense will run through him if Cousins is forced to sit out tonight and could be in line for a big game. He was able to hit 56 fantasy points on Monday with Boogie unable to give it a go. And even if both Rondo and Cousins are able to play, Gay is still an excellent cash play, as he has hit at least 40 fantasy points in 3 out of his last 6 games. He is a very consistent player and will be going up against the Bulls tonight who have given up the 10th most fantasy points to opposing Small Forwards.

Myles Turner! This guy is an animal! He put Lebron on a poster his last time out and will be looking to put someone else on a poster tonight. My guess is that he puts Brook Lopez on a poster! On a serious note, Myles Turner has seen over 35 minutes in the Pacers last two contest and I am expecting him to stay around that neighborhood. The Pacers have already announced that Ian Mahinmi will be out tonight, so Turner will get the start at Power Forward. I see him just devouring Thaddeus Young tonight in the paint as he is much bigger and stronger. The Nets have struggled guarding opposing Power Forwards as of late, as they have allowed an average of 54.9 over there last 5 games, which ranks highest during that span. He is still at a great price and is a great cash option tonight.

Brook Lopez has just been on a tear lately, and riding with him could be the way to go tonight! He has averaged 53.41 fantasy points in his last three games, which is just insane! Tonight he will be going up against the Pacers who have allowed the 4th most rebounds to opposing Centers this year. The Pacers have given up an average of 17.9 field goals per game within 5 feet of the basketball and that is exactly where Brook Lopez makes a living. He will have a cupcake match up in the paint as he will be facing Jordan Hill in the paint who will be replacing Mahinmi again tonight. I see him carrying the offense and having another big night for the Nets.

Value Plays

J.J Barea (PG - DAL) FD: $3,900 DK: $4,800

With Rick Carlisle saying that he was" concerned" with Deron Williams hip injury that he suffered in Monday's game, it is safe to say that he is looking closer to doubtful for tonight's contest against the Heat. I think J.J is a great play tonight, as he would be the likely candidate to get the start with Williams out. Barea played 31 minutes on Monday against the Hawks and finished with 21 fantasy points. He does not have the most gorgeous match-up going up against the Heat tonight, but he is from Miami and will be playing with a little chip on his shoulder playing against the team he grew up watching. And don't forget what he has done to the Heat in the finals! He has their number!

Jordan Hill (C) - IND) FD: $4,700 DK: $5,500

With Ian Mahinmi ruled out for tonight's contest against the Nets, Jordan Hill will get the start at Center. In his last 2 games replacing Mahinmi, he has averaged 37 minutes and 39.62 fantasy points. The Nets have allowed the 5th most fantasy points to opposing Centers, so Hill could have himself another big night.

Gorgui Dieng (C - MIN) FD: $5,500 DK: $5,700

With the veterans out again tonight, look for Dieng to start at Power Forward again tonight. He has been excellent for the T'Wolves starting at the four and has averaged 36 fantasy points in his last 4 games. He does not have the best of match ups against the Clippers, but he is very consistent and is still at a good price.
