Vegas Notes

- We are covering the games starting at 1:00ET and later. There are four games within this slate.
- There isn't much blowout concern in this slate, as every game has an 8 point spread or smaller.
- Sacramento-Boston features two fast-paced teams, yielding a high 216 over/under with an 8 point spread.

- The next highest scoring game is Denver-New York with a 205 over/under and a 6 point spread.

Top Picks

DeMarcus Cousins (C), Kings

Salary: FD: $11,000 DK: $11,200

Cousins hasn't been limited by his recent injury, hitting 53 and 52 fantasy points respectively over the last two. As mentioned in the "Vegas Notes" section, this game is has the highest overall projection of the day, as it features two faster paced teams. Cousins has a decent individual matchup against a mediocre Boston frontcourt, and he's worth "paying up" for on this short slate.

Isaiah Thomas (PG), Celtics

Salary: FD: $7,800 DK: $7,500

More fantasy opportunities arise from the highest scoring game of the day, and we are far from done covering all the plays from this matchup. Thomas is arguably one of the best "per dollar" picks of this game, as he has an elite matchup against a Sacramento team that ranks 27th against opposing point guards. Lock him in!

Dwyane Wade (SG), Heat

Salary: FD: $7,800 DK: $7,200

Ignore the "injury tag" in the graphic above, as Wade is not currently listed on the injury report as of Sunday morning. Although the Clippers rank middle-of-the-pack against opposing shooting guards, Wade has a nice individual matchup against subpar defenders like JJ Redick and Jamal Crawford. The shooting guard position is pretty sparse tonight, furthering the rationale to try and fit Wade.

Danilo Gallinari (SF), Nuggets

Salary: FD: $7,100 DK: $6,900

Gallinari should be a building block in all lineups today. He is the primary offensive option for this Nuggets team, staring at a very nice matchup against the Knicks (rank 24th in defensive efficiency against small forwards). Also, in case you believe in motivational factors, remember that Gallinari was drafted by the Knicks, subsequently traded to Denver several years later. It's a good matchup either way, and some extra incentive to perform well certainly doesn't hurt.

Value Plays

Kristaps Porzingis (PF - NYK) FD: $6,400 DK: $7,000

Porzingis is a solid all-around play today against a shaky Denver frontcourt. He's a solid pick even if Carmelo Anthony plays. If Melo is out, Porzingis becomes even better. He should be a near-lock on FanDuel, where the price is very agreeable, and you are required to roster two power forwards. On DraftKings, we are still trying to plug him in, but the salary is a little more difficult over there, especially if trying to snag Cousins.

Evan Turner (SF - BOS) FD: $5,900 DK: $5,400 (SG)

Evan Turner has been surprisingly efficient off the bench as of late. He is seeing around 30 minutes per contest, averaging a consistent 37 FPPG over the past three games. Some of that uptick could be attributed to Jae Crowder playing through injury, giving more offensive responsibilities to a healthy Turner. He's still relatively cheap, good enough to earn a roster spot in this high-scoring game.

Emmanuel Mudiay (PG - DEN) FD: $5,400 DK: $5,600

It sounds like Jameer Nelson is doubtful once again, meaning Mudiay will continue to see a ton of minutes at the point guard spot. Because of this, Mudiay is the best cheap point guard to fill out your lineups. He is averaging a steady 27 FPPG over the past five, and that's a reasonable projection for today's matchup at NYK.

Marco Belinelli (SG - SAC) FD: $4,000 DK: $4,600

Bello has been starting for Sacramento lately, seeing 33-35 minutes moving forward. We are looking at him more on FanDuel, as he is cheaper over there, and you are required to roster two shooting guards. The matchup isn't great on paper, but neither is the shooting guard position overall. For that reason, it makes sense to go cheap with Belinelli to round our your SG2 spot on FanDuel.

On all of these guys, Celtics-Kings is going to be a mini Thunder-Warriors from last night.
