The goal of cash games is to set yourself up with a high floor, and minimize taking a high amount of risk. In NFL we look towards volume with touches and targets, strong offenses, and obviously we still want to factor in defenses. Factoring in price and lineup construction is also very key towards cash games. While NFL has gotten chalky and you will need to make a few pivots, it is a way to be consistently profitable.

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson - FD: $8,300 / DK: $7,100 - Lamar Jackson is the most expensive quarterback option on the board for the main slate, and deservingly so. He also has had one of the safer floors to name as well. He gets a solid matchup against a weaker Steelers secondary. Jackson also has tacked on 238 yards rushing so far this season, which always adds to his floor. Philip Rivers is also in play on DK where they have tightened up the pricing. On FD you can easily slot most of these names in with no problem.

Running Backs

Ezekiel Elliott - FD: $8,800 / DK: $8,300 - You can't go wrong with any of the top backs this week. Ezekiel Elliot is in a prime spot at home against the Packers, who have the 27th ranked rushing defense so far this season. They have allowed the third most fantasy points per game to opposing backs so far this season. Dallas is sitting as slight home favorites, and this game just screams a monster game from Elliot.

David Johnson - FD: $6,800 / DK: $7,500 - David Johnson is too cheap on FD, but priced accordingly on DK. He is a strong play in all formats on both sites. His touches have been safe, although most of his fantasy production is coming through the air. The Bengals have struggled against opposing backs, allowing the second most fantasy points per game. They are also getting crushed by them through the air.

Wide Receivers

Keenan Allen - FD: $7,500 / DK: $7,300 - Of course Keenan Allen had his first down week against the Miami Dolphins. He is back at home against Denver this week, who rank 28th against the pass. Allen is seeing 33% of the targets, and has a 34-452-3 line already this season. He is your number one wideout at the moment, and one of the top wide receiver plays for Week 5.

Larry Fitzgerald - FD: $5,800 / DK: $6,000 - The same thing follows for Larry Fitzgerald as it does with David Johnson. He is too cheap on FD, but priced as he should be on DK. He is seeing over 20% of the targets in Arizona's high volume offense, and ranks WR13 so far on the season. Cincinnati has one of the worst defenses overall this season, ranking 31st against the pass.

Tight End

Jimmy Graham - FD: $5,500 / DK: $4,300 - I don't love paying up at tight end, and overall this is not a strong tight end week. However, Jimmy Graham will get some extra love with likely no Davante Adams this week. Dallas has yet to face a true threat at tight end, outside of Evan Engram in Week 1. Graham doesn't have the juice like he used to, but he is being looked at in the red zone, and had nine targets last week.

Defense

New England Patriots - FD: $5,500 / DK: $4,300 - It is simple here once again, New England is a pay up defense that you really can't afford to gloss over in cash games. They are on the road against Washington, who have allowed the third most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses this season.
