The Saints didn't necessarily pay off like we hoped last week, but using a hefty amount of David Johnson, Jordy Nelson, LeSean McCoy, Cameron Brate, and Pats defense did. Week 17 is always tricky, as we see Pittsburgh resting their guys, and also numerous games that don't have any real impact on their teams. Players are playing for personal marks, which is always a narrative to keep an eye on. Going through the guys below, we are mainly focused on teams playing for playoffs and seeding.

Cash & GPP Lineup

Starting off your cash game lineups with Aaron Rodgers is a wise choice this week with a team fighting for their playoff lives. Also pairing Jordy Nelson with him is something you can expect a majority of the field to do. Detroit is a bottom five pass defense, and using the two together create a safe floor, and relatively high upside. Green Bay's secondary has been on par with Detroit for allowing fantasy points, and rank bottom five in FanDuel points allowed to opposing wideouts. Using Golden Tate is a great correlation play, especially at $5,700.

Doug Baldwin and Travis Kelce are interesting cash game selections this week, although I don't personally view Baldwin as cash worthy. While I like Seattle's passing game, the outcomes are very volatile. Great matchup against San Francisco, which I will get more into later on. Kelce is coming off an absolute monster week, and has been in the game plan for some time now. He will draw a decent matchup against San Diego, I don't mind him in cash this week given the fact DeAngelo Williams and Golden Tate free up so much.

The running backs here are exactly as I expected. Ignore the doubtful tag for DeAngelo Williams, as our site hasn't refreshed that yet, but his $4,500 price tag against the Cleveland Browns is something I will be attacking. Cleveland ranks bottom five against the run, and bottom three in FanDuel points allowed to opposing running backs. With Le'Veon Bell resting, expect Williams to be extremely chalky in a full workload. David Johnson should be a lock for another 100+ yard game, and is a multi-touchdown threat. I will be looking to use him quite a bit this week, and he freely fits into your lineups.

Stephen Gostkowski isn't a bad option this week, and while Denny Carter doesn't include him, I am okay with using him. Kansas City has been a darling anytime the optimizer chooses them as the defense of the week. I will once again sit here and let the optimizer lead the way there.

In the GPP lineup we see a couple of swerves, as Russell Wilson is now paired up with Baldwin in a correlation play. I really don't mind this move at all, especially given the upside we have seen those two pull off this year. Wilson's price is also solid. Michael Thomas is safe exposure to New Orleans, and has tournament upside.

Optimal Stack Lineup

This is essentially the cash game lineup, but adding in Davante Adams to complete the three person stack. I love Green Bay this week, and will certainly be tossing in a GB stack. While it is expensive, DeAngelo Williams being $4,500 makes their prices irrelevant. Detroit 30th against the pass, with a 30.8% DVOA, and rank inside the bottom ten in FD points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.

Jason, what does the red D after Deangelo Williams name mean?
