1. Tony Romo (Cowboys) – Fractured Clavicle

Falcons at Cowboys (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

For the second week in a row, the Cowboys lost one of their superstars as Tony Romo broke his collarbone and will be out a number of weeks. The injury did not affect the outcome of the game, as this game did not live up to its billing and was a defensive struggle throughout. Brandon Weeden came in for Romo and went 7-for-7 for 73 yards and a touchdown to Terrance Williams that saved many fantasy owners' day. The injury to Romo is bad news for the Cowboys and their receivers, as Weeden is not good and is 5-16 as a starter. Jason Witten and Cole Beasley look to gain the most, as they both run quick, shorter routes which the Cowboys will be forced to run more of with Weeden under center. Joseph Randle and Darren McFadden look to see a big boost in carries to take the pressure of Weeden as well. With Weeden as the only healthy quarterback on the Cowboys roster, it will be interesting to see who they bring in.

2. Jay Cutler (Bears) – Hamstring Injury

Bears at Seahawks (Sunday, 4:25 PM ET)

Bears fans finally got their wish as Jay Cutler was forced to the sideline after attempting to make a tackle on another interception he threw. Cutler had performed great up until throwing what turned out to be a pick-6 going 8-for-8 for 120 yards and a touchdown. Jimmy Clausen took over and could not get anything going. He completed 14 of 23 passes for 121 yards and an interception of his own. The Bears were already without Alshon Jeffery prior to this game. If Cutler is forced to miss Sunday's game against the Seahawks, it will lessen even further the Bears fantasy value for this matchup.

3. Eddie Lacy (Packers) - Ankle Sprain

Chiefs at Packers (Monday, 8:30 PM ET)

The Packers survived an injury to their star running back and outlasted the Seahawks in prime time. This injury was not good for Lacy owners, as he was only able to rush three times for nine yards. The extent of the sprain has yet to be determined, and Lacy is out for an undetermined amount of time. The biggest beneficiary to Lacy missing time is James Starks, who had a big day in relief. Starks finished the day with 24 touches and 106 yards. The passing attack of the Packers also will get an uptick, in particular Randall Cobb and Davante Adams, as the Packers will look to use the screen game as an extension of the run game.

4. Tevin Coleman (Falcons) – Fractured Rib

Falcons at Cowboys (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Coleman's injury was a huge blow to fantasy owners, as Coleman looked set for a huge day. In limited action, Coleman picked up 32 yards and his first career touchdown. Coleman is expected to be out a couple of weeks which opens the door for Devonta Freeman to get extended touches. Freeman is a great third-down back but will now be relied upon to carry the load for the Falcons. The Falcons passing attack will see a major bump in fantasy value, especially Julio Jones, who could see another week of catching screens. The Falcons used the screen game as an extension of their run game and Jones saw 10 targets off of screens as a result.

5. Matthew Stafford (Lions) – Chest Injury

Broncos at Lions (Sunday, 8:30 PM ET)

Stafford is scheduled to get an x-ray on his chest and the extent of his injury is unknown at this point. Jim Caldwell publicly stated that Stafford could miss some time which would severely hurt the fantasy value of Golden Tate and Calvin Johnson since the backup is Dan Orlovsky. Orlovsky has 14 career touchdowns to go along with 12 interceptions and 11 fumbles. The Lions offensive line looked awful against the Vikings, and they are in for a tough test against a Broncos team that already has six sacks this season. Look for a big day from the Broncos defense fantasy wise. Also, keep an eye out on the number of touches Ameer Abdullah receives going forward. His touches went from 11 for 94 yards and a score down to 18 yards on only seven touches in week 2.

I'm looking forward to playing Starks this week. He's really the only benefactor of these injuries that I have any sort of faith in. Also, this Brees "news" this morning could be huge. Not sure how much truth there is to it yet, but I've seen rumors of a torn rotator cuff...

I am seeing reports that Lacy could play. I am looking more at the defenses you can stream now due to these injuries.

Like the stat on Jones and the screen game, Atlanta passing attack should be a full go this week.
