Colts @ Jaguars

For those who have called for Matt Hasselbeck to finish the season, lets think again. The Colts offense was abysmal back-to-back weeks, this time scoring zero offensive touchdowns. Adam Vinatieri was the Colts best fantasy player, outside of T.Y. Hilton. The Ghost racked up 132 yards, on four catches. Not much happening in Indy right now, you can continue to avoid with the state of this offense.

If you want to pick on a defense, the Colts are one of the top options, especially in the passing game. It was another big week for the opposing passing game, and Blake Bortles went off again. He threw for 250 yards, and three scores, rushing for another one.

If you went with the T.J. Yeldon, he was off to a hot start, rushing for 62 yards, on 11 carries. He left the game with a sprained knee, as our fantasy players continue to drop like flies. Denard Robinson carried the torch, rushing for 75 yards, and a score.

After a three touchdown week, Allen Robinson caught one ball, for four yards. It was a touchdown catch, but a measly encore from Mr. Robinson. It was Allen Hurns, torching the Colts again, with a 3-105-1 line.

Bills @ Eagles

Revenge games usually are a letdown, and that is what happened with LeSean McCoy this week. He did have over 100 total yards again this week, and actually caught four passes, for 35 yards. He did not find the end zone, and did not deliver on the narrative.

The passing game was effective, but not effective enough. Robert Woods led the Bills, with five catches, for 106 yards. Sammy Watkins had a 5-81-1 line, but on 12 targets. Watkins has continuously seen a tick upwards in the targets department, and has delivered. I will be continuing to eye Watkins down the stretch here.

The Eagles on the other hand are doing a great job of winning games lately, without having any real impact on our fantasy lives. With Ryan Mathews back, DeMarco Murray took a big hit, carrying the ball 11 times, for 34 yards. Mathews carried the ball 13 times, for 38 yards. Sproles seven times, for 41 yards, but did find the end zone.

Philly's aerial attack, and I am saying that in the most sarcastic way possible, was pretty bland again. Zach Ertz led the team in receiving yards. (98) Nelson Agholor had the touchdown, while only him and Ertz had over 30 yards among the receiving core.

49ers @ Browns

This game featured two of the worst defenses in the league, and plenty of GPP options if we took the risk. None paid off from the San Francisco side, with just one touchdown, from Blaine Gabbert, to Jerome Simpson. Shaun Draughn was the semi-popular play, but only had 43 yards on the ground, and two catches for eight yards. After some decent PPR performances, he only saw three targets in the passing game.

Cleveland is still Cleveland, but San Francisco's defense made them look like a great offense. Isaiah Crowell rushed for 145 yards, and 2 scores. Duke Johnson rushed for 78 yards. As a team they had a 5.6 YPC. Cleveland managed the game on the ground, and played defense, nothing more.

Johnny Manziel looked pretty good this game, throwing for 270 yards, and a score. Brian Hartline, Gary Barnidge, and Travis Benjamin all had seven or more targets. Barnidge continues to be a reliable threat, posting a 5-84-1 line. Hartline had eight catches, for 107 yards, but always came down near the goal line. He ended up leaving the game with a broken collarbone. With the Seahawks, Chiefs, and Steelers to end the season, Johnny Football is done for 2015.

Lions @ Rams

Maybe it was the Hail Mary that ended the Lions' will to win anymore football games this season. Detroit ran the ball successfully as a unit, with 111 yards, on 20 carries. Nobody had a significant edge, with Bell and Abdullah both rushing seven times a piece. Ameer Abdullah had the looks of having a bigger role the last few weeks, but those dreams quickly came to a halt.

Calvin Johnson was talked about pretty heavily leading up to yesterday's game, and although he was on the injury report, it can't be an excuse for one catch. He was targeted just five times, so once again we see Johnson disappear into thin air. Instead it was Golden Tate who had the big day, posting a 9-60-2 line. He saw double-digit targets, and Theo Riddick also saw over 10 targets.

It was another lackluster Lions' effort.

St. Louis was able to establish the run, and it did not matter if Detroit loaded the box or not. It was Todd Gurley's day, with 140 yards, and two scores. I will admit, I was off of him this week. After watching opposing teams try and make the passing game beat them, I believed it would be the same thing. Gurley was the Rams' offense again.

Saints @ Bucs

The Saints' defense held a team under 20 points, somebody pinch me. Tampa failed to get anything going through the air, as Jameis Winston threw for just 182 yards, and one score. It was a down day for the entire core, as Charles Sims led the way, with 64 receiving yards.

Tampa's run game looked great again, as Doug Martin rushed for 81 yards, and a score. He saw just 11 carries, which is surprising given the success they had. Martin continues to have a stellar season, and now has touchdowns in back-to-back games. New Orleans defense is still atrocious, so fire away for the next three weeks as usual.

With Mark Ingram done for the season, there is a clear cut number one. Tim Hightower rushed for 28 carries, 85 yards, and a score. Not an efficient day by any means, but he had a heavy workload. C.J. Spiller had three targets in the passing game, and carried the ball three times. There is no hope for Spiller in the Big easy.

Drew Brees was cool, calm, and collected this week. He tossed for 312 yards, and two scores. Marques Colston, you remember him, he caught the two. It was Willie Snead who led the team in receiving yards, with 122.

Titans @ Jets

I don't think we expected a ton out of the Tennessee offense facing the Jets on the road. We also did not expect Antonio Andrews to throw a 41 yard touchdown pass to Marcus Mariota. That was the storyline in this one. Delanie Walker does deserve an honorable mention here, with a 7-71-0 line. He continues to be a great option in all formats.

The Jets offense is on a real roll right now, scoring 30 points this week. Ryan Fitzpatrick tossed three touchdowns, and had 263 yards. Brandon Marshall continued his mammoth second half, with a 6-125-1 line. Eric Decker posted a 7-74-1 line. They each saw 10 targets, and each of them continue to be reliable wideouts.

Chris Ivory had over 20 carries, for 101 yards, on a 4.6 YPC. He didn't find the end zone, which hurts his overall fantasy performance, but chalk up another big workload day for him.

Steelers @ Bengals

There was a big grey cloud hanging over this game from the beginning. Andy Dalton fractured his thumb early in the game, pretty much resulting in a Steelers' win from the start. Cincinnati not being able to get much going on offense hurt the game-flow a bit here. Big Ben threw for 282 yards, but no scores.

Antonio Brown had seven catches, for 87 yards, which was a disappointing day for all who rostered him. Heath Miller was a PPR goldmine, with 10 catches, for 66 yards. Another RB I was not high on this week, DeAngelo Williams. He had 23 carries, for 76 yards, and two scores. Cincinnati made him earn it, with just a 3.3 YPC, but the 2 touchdowns went unmatched.

With AJ McCarron coming into the game, only one man was able to salvage his day. A.J. Green had a 66 yard touchdown catch, finishing the day with 132 yards. Tyler Eifert had two catches for 42 yards, before leaving the game with a concussion. Chasing the game from the start, neither back had a big workload. Cincinnati will get a chance to rebound against San Francisco next week.

Chargers @ Chiefs

From the weather alone, this game was going to be low scoring. San Diego's team is battered and bruised, or in the midst of flu season. The Chargers came through for us, and I mean because many of us used the Chiefs' defense. Rivers was sacked five times, and threw one pick. San Diego had an attempt to tie the game, but the Chiefs rallied at the goal line.

Antonio Gates saw eight targets, catching six for 76 yards. He is the only Chargers' player I would use over the next few weeks.

Kansas City's offense was shutdown by mother nature a bit here this week. After scoring over 30 points per game since the London trip, they put up just ten. The running game was fairly split, with Charcandrick West seeing 10 carries, and Spencer Ware seeing 8. Both rushed over five yards per carry, and same with Alex Smith. KC gets the Ravens, Browns, and Raiders over the next three weeks, look for them to bounce back to their previous ways of offense.

Redskins @ Bears

You like that!?

Kirk Cousins went on the road, threw for 300 yards, and a touchdown. He also rushed for another, continuing to amaze us. Washington tried to establish a run game with Matt Jones, as he saw 18 carries, for 62 yards. It was Alfred Morris who snagged the touchdown.

Jordan Reed had the monster day, with a 9-120-1 line. He caught all nine targets, and continues to be the go-to threat for Cousins. Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson combined for seven catches, and less than 100 yards. I still want Reed as the number one option if I am trying to pair someone up with Captain Kirk.

After the Cutler-Jeffery duo burned us all last week, they did what they were supposed to do this week. Jay Cutler threw for 315 yards, and two scores. Alshon Jeffery posted a 6-107-1 line, while Zach Miller had a 5-85-1 line. Miller is clearly the number two guy in this offense right now, and will be used at a decent rate with no more Martellus Bennett for the season.

The Chicago backfield was even again, as Matt Forte rushed for 45 yards, and a score on ten carries. Jeremy Langford saw 11 carries, for just 37 yards. Next year we will likely see Langford be the featured back.

Falcons @ Panthers

Go home Atlanta, you're drunk.

Atlanta's offense was useless, and even failed to grab garbage time points. Julio Jones saw 10 targets, catching seven, for 88 yards. Devonta Freeman had 62 total yards.

Atlanta will see Carolina one more time this season, and I am not sure they want to. This was a beatdown in the worst way.

Cam Newton continued his MVP like season, throwing for 265 yards, and three touchdowns. He found Ted Ginn Jr. on the deep ball twice, as he posted a 2-120-2 line. Newton was able to have an easy day, and then grabbed some pine as Derek Anderson finished the job.

Jonathan Stewart did not see over 20 carries for the first time since week six, but did deliver 75 yards, and a touchdown on 10 carries. A lot of this had to do with Carolina scoring early, and keeping guys fresh.

Seahawks @ Ravens

Another cash game running back bites the dust, and this week it was Thomas Rawls. He had 44 yards, on six carries, and was off to the races for what could of been a breakout game. Instead DuJuan Harris came in rushed for a 2.3 YPC, on 18 attempts.

After Rawls went down, we saw Russell Wilson take over this game. He tossed five touchdowns passes, throwing for 292 yards. Tyler Lockett and Doug Baldwin combined for all five, as Lockett posted a 6-104-2 line. Baldwin 6-82-3. If you had this stack going, you might be sitting pretty right now.

Jimmy Clausen faced the Seattle defense again, and didn't accumulate much. He threw for 274 yards, and one INT. Matt "pick six" Schaub should be back next week for some more opposing defense fun. Kamar Aiken did have another nice performance, with a 5-90-0 line. Still a great value option for the remainder of the year.

Raiders @ Broncos

This one was a stunner. It was a defensive game on both sides, and neither offense got anything going.

Lat Murray - 27 yards on 16 carries.

Amari Cooper - zero catches on eight targets.

Ronnie Hillman - 20 yards on 12 carries.

Demaryius Thomas had a decent day, but only if you played him on DraftKings. He had 10 catches, for 95 yards. Vernon Davis made an appearance, and of course it was against Oakland, with a 7-74-0 line. This was just one of those games you were excited to skip altogether.

Cowboys @ Packers

The Packers' offense started to look like the old Packers' offense. Aaron Rodgers was not relied on heavily, throwing for 218 yards, and two scores. He found James Starks, and Richard Rodgers for those scores. It was Randall Cobb who led the way, with eight catches, for 81 yards. He saw 12 targets, and finally some production out of the slot man.

It was Eddie Lacy's day though. We saw talks all week of him being rejuvenated, and him going to be relied on heavily. He was exactly that, and then some. He had 24 carries, rushed for 124 yards, and found the end zone. If you rolled the dice on him for a cheap play, he paid off big time. If somehow James Starks found his way into your lineup, he rushed for 71 yards, and a score.

The Dallas passing game. R.I.P.

Darren McFadden had 111 yards, on just nine carries. Robert Turbin had 51 yards, on seven carries, and found the end zone. This sums up the Dallas offense. Moving forward our only hope is the defense keeps things close, and McFadden can get a full workload.

Patriots @ Texans

Another RB went down in this game, as LeGarrette Blount left early in this one. He was off to a hot start, with 53 yards, on ten carries. Brandon Bolden filled in after, with 16 carries, for 51 yards. It was not the James White show, as New England quickly jumped ahead, and established the run. White did have a two yard rushing touchdown, and did see six targets in the passing game.

The passing game did what it needed to do, and then iced the game. Brady had 226 yards, and two touchdowns. Rob Gronkowski bounced back from injury, with a 4-87-1 line. With Houston just scoring six points, the Pats' offense was fairly timid for most of the second half.

New England's defense looked to have a pretty good strategy going into this one. They have always been great at taking away opposing team's best weapons. DeAndre Hopkins was held to just 52 yards, on three catches. In fact, Brian Hoyer had 155 yards, before leaving the game with a consussion.

One note from the Houston side, Alfred Blue received zero snaps, as Jonathan Grimes and Chris Polk saw most of the time in the back field.
