Welcome back to Stacking to Win it. In this article I will give you my top stacks of the week. I will give you my top two stacks to consider, a value stack and a team that I feel is flying under the radar to consider.

This shaping up to be a pretty chalky week. There are some pretty obvious stacks. We are going to talk about the most obvious ones because they are just too good to pass up, but we are also going to give you three other ones to pivot to in GPPs.

Top Stack 1

Seahawks vs Browns- Team Total 28.75

The Seahawks are your hands down top stack this week. I have already mentioned they are going to be chalky. Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Tyler Lockett and the defense were the top owned plays at their positions in the Thursday night contests for good reason. The Hawks have the second highest point total on the board at 28.75 and are the largest favorites as 14.5 home favorites this week. This bodes well for the very hot defense. The Seahawks defense has scored in double digits the past two weeks, and the Browns have the lowest point total of the week at 14.25. The Browns have injuries up and down the wide receiver core and have little to no talent on the offensive side of the ball. This is going to be a cake walk for the defense. Now let's talk about that passing attack that has been red hot the past four weeks. Russell Wilson has been amazing with 17 total touchdowns and zero turnovers over the past month. Wilson is averaging 31.74 fantasy points a game over the past four and has not scored below 25 in that time frame. His main target has been Baldwin who has been just as hot as Wilson. Baldwin has five straight games of at least five receptions and 60 yards. Where Baldwin has really been standing out is his ability to find the end zone, as he has scored eight touchdowns over the past three weeks and has a score in four of his past five games. You can add in Tyler Lockett who has 13 catches for 194 yards and two scores over the past two weeks if you want to go with the full stack, or you can even go under the radar with Jermaine Kearse who caught seven of his eight targets for 74 yards last game out. The Browns don't look like they are going to be any match for this group. The Browns rank 22nd in passing yards allowed per game with 254 and are giving up the second most points per game at 27.5. This stack looks as tasty as can be. Stack two, three or even four players from this stack and enjoy the results.

Top Stack 2

Cardinals @ Eagles - Team Total 27.0

If you want to fade the Seahawks, which I recommend you do in a couple of GPPs just in case something funky happens and the Browns shut down the Seahawks, the Cardinals are the place to look. Carson Palmer has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks this season. Palmer has thrown for at least 300 yards in five of his past six games and thrown at least two touchdown passes in six of his past seven. He has gone for at least 20 fantasy points those five games he threw for 300 yards and gets one of the best matchups for quarterbacks on the board. The Eagles allow the second most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks on the season with 21.66 and have been even worse of the past three weeks allowing 26.65. They have allowed the second most touchdown passes in the NFL with 29 and have allowed 14 over the past four games. Palmer has a boatload of stud wide outs to pass to and Michael Floyd is my favorite of the bunch. Floyd has four out of five games with over 100 yards receiving and has five out of seven with a score. Larry Fitzgerald is always a top option, and prior to last week had five straight weeks with at least eight catches. He has 96 receptions on the season. Fitz was limited at practice but looks to be perfectly fine for this matchup, but that is something to monitor this week. You can add John Brown for Fitzgerald or as a full three-wide out stack if you want. Brown has 290 yards over the past three weeks and is always a big play threat. Much like the Eagles struggle against quarterbacks, they struggle against wide receivers as well allowing the most fantasy points to them with 35.20 per game. You can also look at David Johnson at running back in this stack as he has gone for over 100 total yards in his two starts and can get you points in the passing attack as he has at least two catches in six of his past seven games. There are many ways you can go with this stack, and picking the right members is going to be key if you choose to go this route.

Value Stack

Lions @ Saints - Team Total 24.0

I love the Lions as a value stack this week. They face the Saints, who are the worst defense in the NFL. They have allowed a league worst 30.5 points per game with 36 passing touchdowns. They allow 279 passing yards per game, which is the second most in the NFL, and allow 24.54 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks which is worst in the NFL. Matthew Stafford has been fantastic since the Lions made an offensive coordinator change and has gone for at least 16 fantasy points in seven of his past eight games. Stafford has at least two touchdown passes in four of his past five games and has shown upside you look for in GPPs. He has two games with at least four touchdowns passes and over 34 fantasy points. He has shown the ability to also run the ball and has rushed for over 30 yards twice this season and has rushed for 71 yards over the past four weeks. Megatron is once again Stafford's top option but has struggled recently with an ankle injury. Johnson is questionable for this weekend's game but has been for most of the past two months and still has played every game. He only has four catches for 60 yards and a score over the past two weeks but had six straight weeks with at least five catches and 80 yards previously. I expect Johnson to see close to those numbers against Brandon Browner who is the 113th rated corner back in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus. The other piece to add to the puzzle is Golden Tate, who has really come on over the past month. In his past four games, Tate has caught at least seven passes in each game and gone for at least 50 yards. He has 32 total catches for 246 yards and three scores in those four weeks and has also been adding some points on the ground. He has received a carry in four of the past five games and has averaged over six yards a carry this season. With how bad the Saints are, the Lions stack is very affordable and could pay off big time.

Contrarian Stack

Broncos @ Steelers - Team Total 19.25

A lot of choices for contrarian stack this week, but the Broncos are the team I want to talk about. Brock Osweiler is no Peyton Manning, we all know this, but he has been respectable this season. In the past four games he has thrown over 250 yards in three of them and is coming off his first 300 yard passing game. He has not thrown more than two touchdowns in a game yet this season, but that could change this week. First, he has excellent skill position players in Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders who are finally healthy. Both players can take it to the house on any play and can get over 100 yards receiving. Thomas has 88 catches for 1,067 yards this season and Sanders has 57 catches for 788 yards. Sanders has struggled the past two weeks, but I feel like he turns it around this week. The reason why I like this stack as an under the radar stack is their opponent. The Steelers are often a team that people tend to shy away from picking on as they have a reputation as a great defense, but the facts are they are a terrible pass defense. They have allowed the second most passing yards per game at 279, allowed the seventh most yards per attempt at 7.8 and have allowed four out of the past five teams they have faced to throw for over 300 yards. They have allowed at least four passing touchdowns three times this season as well. Game flow should be in the Broncos favor as the Steelers are six-point-home favorites which will likely mean more passes for the Broncos and more opportunities for Brock and company to rack up fantasy points. While I will not be having a ton of exposure to his passing attack, I will be having some exposure to this stack as it has the potential to pay off big time.

Yeah, I'm eating the chalk like it's Rolaids and my stomach is rumbling. The Seahawks are too good to ignore. I like the Cardinals, too, and I'm glad you highlighted them.

Love the calls here, and Seattle was super high owned for the Thursday contests, I really like the pivot to AZ.
