Welcome back to Stacking to Win it. In this article I will give you my top stacks of the week. I will give you my top two stacks to consider, a value stack and a team that I feel is flying under the radar to consider.

In the last week of the season I am going to be targeting either teams or players that have something to play for. I want to make sure that my players have a chance to finish the game and won't get pulled early. I also am going to avoid the Falcons stack despite how bad the Saints are on defense as I have no faith in Matt Ryan.

Top Stack 1

Steelers @ Browns- Team Total 28.5

I am going back to the well with the Steelers this week despite the fact that every time I play them they disappoint me. This should not be such a week, in a must win game for the Steelers. The Steelers must win against an awful Browns defense if they want a shot at the playoffs. The Browns allow 244 passing yards per game, 26.9 points per game and 83.02 fantasy points per game. The fantasy points per game rank as the 8th most in the NFL and the 26.9 points are fourth most in the NFL. The Steelers racked 459 yards and 30 total points. That was the game where Big Ben was not expected to play and Landry Jones got the start, and then Ben came in for Jones. Ben threw for 379 yards and two scores in that game. Both Martavis Bryant and Antonio Brown had huge games in the earlier meeting. Bryant had six catches for 178 yards and a score and Brown did Brown things with 10 catches for 139 yards and two scores. If you want to switch things up, you can look at Markus Wheaton who has five straight games with at least 40 yards and is averaging 83.8 yards in that time frame. I also love DeAngelo Williams in the stack with either one or two of the wide outs. Williams only needs 101 yards to reach a 1,000 for the season. He also catches the ball out of the backfield with 38 receptions and 354 yards on the season. This is a high powered stack that I want exposure to.

Top Stack 2

Giants vs Eagles - Team Total 27.5

With OBJ back in the fold, I am all over the Giants this week against the Eagles. The Eagles are a team in turmoil after firing Chip Kelly and have an awful defense. For the season, they are allowing 265 passing yards per game and 26.7 points which is the fifth most in the NFL. They allow the second most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks with 21.9 and second most fantasy points per game to wide outs with 34.46. The Giants, led by Eli Manning, are one of the best passing offenses in the NFL. They rank sixth in the NFL with 270 passing yards a game and have the third most passing scores with 34. We all know how good OBJ is and how he is likely going to be looking to make a statement after missing last week. He has a touchdown in eight out of his past 10 games including in five straight games. He only had 76 yards against Josh Norman but had six straight games with over 100 yards before that. Rueben Randle often goes overlooked but has been fantastic over the past three weeks. In that time frame, he has 11 catches for 185 yards. He has a score in each of those games and in four of his past five. In a game that is shaping up to be a shootout with the second highest projected point total of the week with 52, the Giants are a team I am going to have a lot of access to.

Value Stack

Eagles @ Giants - Team Total 24.5

As my value stack I am going to the other side of the Giants-Eagles game. I stated in the Giants write up how this game is scheduled to be a shootout so it's only right to have access to both sides of the game. The Giants feature a worse defense than the Eagles. They allow the most passing yards per game with 298 and the third most points per game with 27.1 They allow the third most fantasy points to quarterbacks with 21.36 and the third most fantasy points to tight ends with 13.82. Sam Bradford has been excellent over the past two weeks with 741 yards and three scores. His main targets have been his emerging tight end Zach Ertz, who has 26 catches for 298 yards and a score over the past three weeks, and Jordan Matthews. Matthews is also emerging and becoming the player everyone thought he would be this season with back-to-back games with at least six catches, 100 yards and a score. He actually has a score in four of his past five games and at least 10 fantasy points in those games. Despite the firing of Chip Kelly this offense lead by interim coach Pat Shurmur should thrive this week.

Contrarian Stack

Rams @ 49ers - Team Total 20.5

For my contrarian stack, I am going back to the rarely used running back defensive stack with Todd Gurley and the Rams defense. The Rams play the 49ers who are one of the worst run defenses and offenses in the NFL. The 49ers are only averaging 14.6 points a game and 52 sacks. Those numbers are the worst in the NFL. The Rams should be able to take advantage, as they have 40 sacks on the season and are allowing 20.7 points per game which ranks 13th in the league. With the Rams shutting down the 49ers offense the Rams should be looking to run their stud rookie Gurley all day long. Gurley has been fantastic in his rookie year and has three straight games with at least 75 total yards and a score. The 49ers allow the 2nd most fantasy points to running backs with 26.49 and 5th most rushing yards per game with 126. Gurley was a little banged up and missed practice yesterday so his status does bear watching but if he is able to go he should have a huge game.
