Elite Plays
Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots
Here we are again, Rob Gronkowski is the elite option for week 11, and I will copy and paste for the remaining weeks as well. Gronk has had two double-digit target games this season, and one was against Buffalo, in week 2. He caught seven balls, for 113, and a touchdown. With the loss of Julian Edelman, this opens up a few more targets for Gronk, especially in the red zone. Both Edelman, and Gronk had the same amount of red zone targets this season, resulting in 26% of the targets. It will not be a huge spike for Gronk, due to all the other options in New England, but he should receive a slight bump. Buffalo has been solid against the tight end this season, but Gronk is simply matchup proof, as we saw already this season.
