Before we start, it seems about every tight end for Week 14 is injured, practicing on a limited basis or is questionable for Week 14.

Rob Gronkowski did practice today, which caught everyone off guard. This would take Scott Chandler out of play, and really I am not comfortable paying up for Gronk in any format.

Tyler Eifert, or Gronk Jr., is in line to play for Week 14, but he would only be in line for GPPs, as stated below.

Gary Barnidge has been limited in practice, but if he does play, he is a safe tight end in all formats.

It seems more so the Bills want to keep Charles Clay fresh, which was why he was limited in practice, he is a decent GPP play if he is indeed not injured.

Heath Miller "has a chance," according to Mike Tomlin, to play this week. Miller is not a guy I am eying, and he will not create a value play if he misses this week.

Elite Plays

Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers

There is only one elite option this week, and that's Greg Olsen. He did not score last week against the Saints, but he did rack up 129 yards on nine receptions. Olsen has over 100 targets on the season averaging 8.7 per game. Olsen is the man in the red zone, of course when Cam Newton is not running it in himself. He has six red-zone touchdowns, and he has 29% of the targets. Carolina has a 27 point team total this week squaring off against a slipping Atlanta defense. Atlanta ranks eighth against the tight end, per Football Outsiders, but have allowed the 13th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. Not a stellar matchup, but definitely not one keeping me away. Only a handful of tight ends get the volume Olsen does, making him another safe bet for Week 14.

Tight end is ugly, but I'm loving the players you chose to tout.

Love ASJ this week. Also high on Walker. His match-up looks awful on paper but if you look further into it he should continue his hot streak.
