Brief Summary (6:45 PM Update):

PPD Threat: PIT (15%)

Delay Threats: PIT(50%), PHL (15%)

Good Hitting Environment: PHL

Poor Hitting Environments: PIT, AZ (roof closed), LAD, SD

FORECASTING ANALYSIS:

Current radar:

CHC at PHL

This game has become a slight delay risk. Showers in central PA are heading towards PHL. Will they survive? Will they be heavy enough to impact the game? Here is the simulated radar at 8 PM:

Probably not but I wanted to at least alert you to the small risk here. VERY LOW CHANCE OF A PPD, LOW CHANCE OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)

NYM at PIT

Current radar:

We can see the showers and storms that will cause the in-game delay threat.

Tstorms will be found across western Pennsylvania this evening. Here is the simulated radar for 7 PM:

And 9 PM:

Have to look at the current radar and realize things are going to have to get much worse and in a hurry for this game to be a PPD threat. And the models really do not show scheduled 1st pitch that busy so I think they are OK. That being said, showers and tstorms will be developing and passing through the region all evening long so a delay or two is a legitimate concern. LOW CHANCE OF A PPD, LOW TO MODERATE CHANCE OF A DELAY

TOR at DET

Current radar:

Radar has cleared out nicely. We now have no issues to worry about here,

VERY LOW CHANCE OF PPD OOF A DELAY

Ya, pretty quiet. DET and PIT should be delays worst case scenario. And thank you Jason!
