This week I decided to take a look at defenses that had trouble getting off the field. Third down conversion rate is an underrated stat that I like to look at. If the defense has a hard trouble getting teams off the field not only does it mean more plays and longer drives for the offense but it also means the defense will more than likely be tired later in the game. More opportunity plus a tired defense normally equals more fantasy points for the offense.
Most of these teams are from lower conferences and we would not have their games in the pool to chose from but some notable names stand out as we look to start conference play. Texas and Arkansas both have to face some monster offenses in the upcoming weeks and look like good teams to stream against.
