Switching to the DraftKings optimizer, I once again went unfiltered, with the cash game projections. Carson Palmer is one of my favorite value plays for the weekend, sitting at just $6,700. He gets a mediocre Bears' defense, and the Cards are locked and loaded for a high flying passing attack. Starting with the running backs, Matt Forte and Justin Forsett are a nice duo. We know Forte is the workhorse for Chicago, but Forsett should see a dramatic increase in usage/efficiency from a disappointing week 1. Get used to seeing Antonio Brown, he has a very safe floor, and is a great cash game play. With Dez Bryant going down, we should see Terrance Williams be a popular value play, and Colossus caught onto that. I don't like having two low-floor players like Pierre Garcon and Kendall Wright in one lineup, despite having some upside. That would be my only tweak to this one. Oh and Ravens defense, go to town.
The GPP projections gives us a bit of a twist, but keeps some of the core players. Nick Foles is the biggest boom-or-bust GPP play in this lineup, creating room to add Julio Jones. We have seen low salary QB's pay off in the past in tournaments, and although it is not my personal strategy, I don't hate it. Forte/Brown/Jones are your big point-getters, and I expect them to do so this weekend. Colossus creates a mix of high upside value plays we hope can go off alongside them.
