The first thing you probably see in this post is all the Green Bay Packers players. While they play against Seattle this week, their prices dropped a fair amount on both sites. Actually they weren't particularly high last week either. The projections have not really dropped on them, putting them into play for tournaments. I can't quite get behind them in cash games, but I really see the logic when prices are taken into consideration.
Using two high volume and high floor backs has been a wise move this year, and something our optimizer has been on for quite some time. Both Bell and Johnson are in good spots this week, and don't necessarily need a lot of analysis as to why. The optimizer is using the value at tight end, Golden Tate, and Emmanuel Sanders to fit those names in. We also see a punt defense and kicker appear.
The wideouts I am a big fan of, and so is the Cafe Value. Golden Tate is in another good spot this week, and so is Emmanuel Sanders. While Sanders has been boom or bust this season, Tennessee's secondary has been dreadful over the last six or seven weeks. Tyrell Williams caught a touchdown last week, even on a bum shoulder, and continues to produce. Even with injury considered, it is hard to shake him for under $7,000. The Packers wideouts are just correlation plays with Rodgers, and I do prefer Adams in this matchup.
Overall the lineups appear to have a safety floor to them with Rodgers and these backs. Minnesota's defense in cash is a good move, while punting defense in GPPs is worth a shot on a week like this. There are no glaring matchups this week to exploit, so taking the best most consistent talent seems to be more of a strategy.
