Hey guys. Any advice on this lineup would be appreciated. It's for a H2H contest against a friend. I feel pretty good about it, with the exception or Richard Rodgers, but no one I really want to downgrade to upgrade my TE. Thanks!
Lineup advice
I like the lineup a lot. That trio of wide receivers is drool inducing, and your backfield is rock solid. The Jets are my favorite defense. Gates wasted no time making noise, and he led the Chargers in targets. It looks like a high ceiling team with a high floor too.
8 years agoIt looks solid as a cash game against a friend. I'd try to get Fitzgerald out of there because you probably don't need a stack and C. West is no shoe in for a ton of points, especially if the Chiefs get down early. Or you could use the savings to upgrade Rodgers in that FLEX spot if you don't like him. He is on a high scoring offense obviously but is pretty much TD dependent and you never know when that will happen.
8 years agoThanks fellas, appreciate you taking the time to respond. Lox81, what do you mean by a "C"?
8 years agoC. West. Your Running Back.
8 years agoOh man thanks. Sorry, I'm an idiot....
8 years agoFor your flex spot, I am just spouting out two options based on injuries. The Eagles should be without Nelson Agholor this week, meaning $3,100 Josh Huff would get more snaps. I know the Eagles are tough to figure out targets wise, but he is a cheap option in a high scoring game. On the other side, if Odell Beckham can't go, or Rueben Randle has a setback, Dwayne Harris would see an increased role. He actually has a 13.2 and 16.1 performance in the last two games. Also $3,100. Rogers is the safe play, but just some other names.
8 years agoI love the Harris mention by Jason. He is a sneaky name that could pay off huge dividens.
8 years agoThanks everyone for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate it. This forum is great, I'm glad I joined. Lots of sound advice helpful people!
8 years agoI am probably gonna sneak Harris into some lineups. Keep in mind he did have a pretty poor drop the other night but his volume is definitely going to increase. ODB is definitely ruled as questionable still as of Saturday so its worth a punt.
8 years agoI'll add Marquess Wilson to the list of desirable bargain plays if Jeffery/Royal/Bennett are out or any combo of two are out. He's only $4,000.
8 years agoMade the change to Harris. I will continue to monitor the status of the Giants receivers. Also created a 2nd lineup where I downgraded to Dalton, and upgraded to Foster and made a few other changes. Do you guys like the Palmer lineup or the Dalton lineup better? Once again this is for a $20 H2H against a friend(who I can't seem to beat for the life of me!). Thanks fellas!
8 years agoSo with word out that Forsett has a high ankle sprain and Taliaferro out, how do you guys feel about Javorius Allen? I mean he should be getting a massive workload this week, especially considering if Steve Smith doesn't make a return.
8 years agoThere is conflicting reports about Forsett this morning, but I wouldn't mind him if he is indeed out!
8 years agoJust wanted to know what you all thought of one of my potential teams this week. I've got $800 left over. I tried to focus completely on guys that have favorable match ups. I didn't pick Larry because I figure that Baltimore is going to put their best man on him, which would leave Brown a bit more open for better opportunities. I'm not completely sold on Miller either, I could swap him out for maybe Gurley who's going up against Cleveland. I'm a little iffy about Antonio Brown since he's not being as productive with out Ben, but I'm hoping he's coming back. I appreciate your input and advice!
8 years agoI would definitely use Gurley instead of Miller. I also can't seem to fade DeAndre Hopkins, and if you move down from Cooks to Diggs, you could make the upgrade from A.Brown to Hopkins.
