Recap

Last week was an interesting week to say the least. D.J. missing the cut for us and Norlander as well. However, it wasn't just us! A lot of big names missed the weekend which made it difficult to have 6/6 through for everyone. Congrats to Jon Rahm on his first win!

Quick Note

This week we are at The Phoenix Open. This is a place where every golfer/golf fan needs to go, hopefully on the Saturday, and just witness hole #16. It's a stadium style par 3 where before the pro hits his tee shot, you can hear a pin drop and then, after he hits, watch out! If the ball misses the green, the crowd will boo you. If hits, then they will cheer. You don't want to know what happens if he gets a hole in one…potentially, beer cups will be flying everywhere!

The stats that I'm looking for will be the same. I like to look at the golfer's course history; recent form; and greens in regulation. Despite what happen to us last week, I think it's a good idea to stick to the process and good things will come. Here are my core players for this week.

GPP Picks

Jon Rahm ($9,700) – This is probably not a surprise, but you have to take a look at Rahm. With a win last week and going to his backyard this week at Arizona, it's going to be very hard to fade him knowing that he'll be popular. He played here last year with a 5th place finish. His stats are solid across the board and he'll be a lock in my lineups.
