Halfway through August, the MLB season is hitting crunch time, and the World Baseball Championships have been a full go. Saturday DraftKings handed out a one million dollar prize to PaulyShorts. His winning lineup is below. He chose only one player from Coors, with a bulk of his offense coming from Chris Davis and the Arizona outfield. Patrick Corbin was a money maker being only 17.5% owned, and his team's highest scoring player.

Red Sox?

Boston scored 37 runs in two games, and one of those games Felix Hernandez was on the hill. 15 runs Friday, 22 on Saturday, and this could be more by the end of Sunday. Unfortunately the Red Sox were involved in a worthless two game slate on Saturday, so nobody could benefit from the massive outburst. Boston has ranked 12th in wRC+ on the season, but it has seemed much worse with the talent in their lineup. Jackie Bradley Jr. had the monster outing over the series, racking up 25.75 FanDuel points, and 59 DraftKings points.

Paaadres, Come Out To Playay

Coors can do miracles for an offense, and we have seen that with the Padres this series. Granted they are facing some of the worst pitching in the league, but they still have the hit the ball. 16 runs in two games has provided some nice pop from their bats like Matt Kemp, who had the Padres first cycle in history. We get one game left on Sunday for some offense, and then we go back to targeting pitchers against the Friars.

Check Please

Clayton Kershaw has been flat out dominant, outside of his outing in Pittsburgh, but over the last month, he has kept many teams scoreless. Six starts around his outing in PNC, he allowed zero runs, and struck out 83 batters. The price tag has been an issue at times this season, which leads to the question, how expensive will you go? On a slate that lacks pitching, I will pay whatever the price is, but on a slate with other aces, I will lean their way. Kershaw was a high owned player last season, but that has taken somewhat of a turn in 2015.

Hisashi Iwano-no

It has been an up-and-down season for Hisashi Iwakuma, but earlier in the week he hit his high point. He threw a no-hitter against the Baltimore Orioles, in a short day slate for the gamers. He racked up 20 FanDuel points, and 46.5 DraftKings points. Hey FanDuel, can we get some bonuses for a complete game shutout? That 20 points looks mediocre for someone who threw a no-hitter.
