The future of baseball is truly here, and by that, I mean we have robots playing baseball. Giancarlo Stanton hit some mammoth shots this week, and Corey Kluber struck out 18 Cardinals' hitters. The bad thing about Kluber's performance, was that it was during that ridiculous 6:10 game the MLB has schedule this year. Not many DFS players got to enjoy Kluber's monster outing. I would of played him...

A few 2014 DFS regulars joined 2015 relevance this last week, Adrian Beltre, Josh Harrison, J.D. Martinez, and Jordan Zimmermann all with stellar performances over the last seven days. Albert Pujols, Robinson Cano, Chris Carter, and David Ortiz have yet to join us.

Fantasy Pitcher Of The Week: Max Scherzer - 2-0, 1 ER, 17 strikeouts

Fantasy Hitter Of The Week: Jason Kipnis - .615, 6 XBH, 1 HR, 9 R, 5 RBI, 1 SB

Stanton Is Coming

Stanton has been fairly streaky this season, but now his home run count is up to eleven, which is tied for fourth in the league. He hit four this past week, and one is now being called the home run heard round the world. He hit a ball out of Dodger Stadium, and followed up hitting a few home runs for the hometown faithful. You can decide for yourself which one is more impressive, and how about that catch! The Nationals need a shortstop with hands like his.

Klube-Side-Check-In

30 FanDuel points - 56.8 DraftKings points - I am not going to lie, Kluber outscored a few of my later lineups. He threw eight scoreless innings, striking out 18, and took a no-hit bid into the seventh. DFS was not around when Randy Johnson, Kerry Wood, or Roger Clemens hit their 20-strikeout games, this was the closest performance to that. We were robbed of Kluber's performance with a random 6:10 start. Thanks MLB.

Sweet Sweet Regression

Guys like Mike Leake, Colby Lewis, Wandy Rodriguez, Danny Duffy have been disappointing opposing stackers this season so far, but showed a glimpse of hope this week. All three struggled this week, hopefully starting to trend back towards their usual selves. Always something to keep an eye on during the season, as I am watching Nick Martinez shut down the Indians.

End These Games!

If you have ever endured a sweat, you are rooting for the games to end as quickly as possible. The west coast games never seem to end, and batters always seem to draw out every at-bat. Gregory Polanco was sitting in first in the early strikeout on FanDuel, when players were creeping behind him with teammates of his. He knew he couldn't let this game go any further, and he did quite the sell-job.

Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde

Home-away splits are very important, as I have witnessed yet again this week. The Giants have a .302 wOBA - 99 wRC+ at home this season, but on the road, .332 wOBA - 107 wRC+. Park factor has a lot to due with the Giants offensive success, they scored the third most runs this week, while playing their games in Houston and Cincinnati.
