Welcome to MLB GPP Stacking & Ownership. In this article I will give you three options to stack. Remember that winning a GPP isn't always about maximizing points but instead maximizing some form of points and ownership. As always, plays will be listed from favorite to least favorite of the stack.

There are a lot of juicy run totals to target today, and many stacks you can go ahead with outside of the three. Both teams from the game in Toronto, as well as Reds-Pirates. The Royals can combine speed and power against the knuckle-baller, and were my next best stack after these three.

Option 1

Diamondbacks @ Astros – Game Total of 8

The Astros landed Carlos Gomez, and their offense gets a massive boost. Houston is facing the lefty, Robbie Ray, today, and come in as the top stack option. They rank 8th in the majors in wRC+ against left-handed pitching, and 4th in runs. Adding Gomez into the mix is just another lefty-masher to add to the stack. Just wait until George Springer comes back into the lineup. Jose Altuve has a .392 wOBA off lefties this season, and Carlos Correa has a .425 wOBA. Evan Gattis and Chris Carter also possess boom-or-bust qualities to add into the mix. Robbie Ray has allowed a career .331 wOBA to right-handed bats, with a 42% hardball rate. He also has a 42% flyball rate in that span as well. Minute Maid Park gives a boost to both runs and home runs from the right side, as well as extra base hits. There is a lot working in the Astros' favor today.
