What do I really have to say here? Clayton Kershaw never pitches below average in back-to-back games, and gets a very favorable match up against the Padres tonight. The marine layer effect will also be in play, so realistically, two runs would be the most we would see him give up here, and I don't even think that happens. I see Kershaw throwing a gem tonight against the Padres who strike out over 22 percent of the time against opposing left-handers.

Top GPP Hitters

A.J. Pollock gets a great match up tonight against the southpaw Tyler Anderson in Coors Field tonight. Pollock has been a lefty masher over his career, (0.364 wOBA, 126 wRC+), and has been mashing lefties so far this season (131 wRC+). A leadoff hitter with pop and speed, that has a chance at 5+ AB's is something that people will be looking for in cash games, but is also something to exploit in your GPP's.

Let me just start off by saying that Dylan Covey is terrible. He is a reverse-splits pitcher (although not very good against lefties either), and will see one of the scariest reverse-splits batters in Mark Trumbo. Trumbo has had a slow start to the season, but is in a great spot to explode tonight against Covey. I'm calling a HR for Trumbo here tonight, and I wouldn't be surprised if he hit two. He is the one of the best boom or bust guys in the league, and that's exactly what we're looking for in GPP's.

Eugenio Suarez has unreal numbers against lefties this year, and do I mean unreal. A 258 wRC+ is crazy, but he's just that good, and in an unbelievable spot. Suarez is in the middle of this lineup, and should have plenty of chances to knock in baserunners. I really like the Cincinnati stack tonight, and Suarez should definitely be a part of it.

Kelby Tomlinson is my cheap guy of the night. Tomlinson is a great salary-relief pick that will give you the chance to fit in an extra Coors bat, or will allow you to pay up to Kershaw. He has multile eligibility on DK, and is dirt cheap on FD. He has good career numbers against lefties, and gets a huge ballpark upgrade from AT&T to Great American. He is fine for both cash games and GPP's tonight.
