Welcome to MLB GPP Stacking & Ownership. In this article I will give you three options to stack. Remember that winning a GPP isn't always about maximizing points but instead maximizing some form of points and ownership. As always, plays will be listed from favorite to least favorite of the stack.

Well, it's the last Friday slate before the All-Star break and boy has it been a great half season so far. Lots of surprises, both good and bad, and ultimately some great baseball. Interestingly enough, the game of DFS has changed as major sites DraftKings and FanDuel have “updated" their terms of service regarding scripting. If you aren't familiar, scripting is essentially having a bot/web app enter in your lineups at a much faster rate than humanly possible. As a fun experiment for our readers, tonight, SpaceJam23 will be running 300 manually built GPP lineups to show that the game is still traditional and can be beaten the old fashioned way.

Enough of the introduction, tonight we have a special Coors game. What makes this game more special than any other Coors game? It will most likely be a bullpen game for the Rockies as they used up David Hale last night, and he was supposed to pitch tonight. This could get ugly in Colorado and I would put the Braves as my number-one stack on the night. My guess is that the Braves will be highly owned and a fade is warranted. This leads me to fade the number-one stack of the night due to perceived ownership and also a most likely, bullpen game.

Lots of interesting ideas to go with at pitcher tonight. We have viable cheap options and also great top options. My chalk play of the night goes to San Francisco Giants Madison Bumgarner. We just witnessed complete domination of the Phillies by Kershaw and Greinke and will likely continue with “Bum." My contrarian pick of the night goes to Danny Salazar against the Oakland Athletics. The A's have an image of “don't select pitchers against them." Tanaka had his way yesterday and Salazar is a similar strikeout type pitcher. I think Salazar will have a depressed ownership with elite strikeout upside.

Enjoy the last full slate before the All-Star break. It's been a grind for these players as well as us as DFS players. Tonight, do one lineup that you'd usually never do. Maybe it's a BvP lineup, maybe you stack against chalk. Whatever it may be do it and expand game theory. Upon coming back from All Star break I will be discussing game theory more in depth. This is a great way to wet your whistle.

“Take me out to the ball game!"

Good luck with the 300 entries. Are these all in Draft King or Fanduel? Please post results if you don't mind.

Great stuff Chris. Pads are a really affordable stack on FD also. Can get a solid SP with them
