Welcome to MLB GPP Stacking & Ownership. In this article I will give you three options to stack. Remember that winning a GPP isn't always about maximizing points but instead maximizing some form of points and ownership. As always, plays will be listed from favorite to least favorite of the stack.

We have the first night of new look Blue Jays with Troy Tulowitzki playing in mini Coors which will make for the chalky option of the night. Not to mention we have some decent upside pitching options that should keep ownership relatively low. Which brings me to my strategy option of tonight's slate – pitching.

Tonight, there isn't truly a chalk pitcher, nor is there an easy value pick. I would make a real suggestion in trusting your research tonight and ranking your pitchers one-through-six. The reason behind this is, the bats tonight are in very good positions and I prefer to maximize hitting rather than pitching. By building around hitters you like, you can fill with pitchers that you like but don't love.

The risk involved with pitching tonight is that there are no safe options – not that there ever is – but Kershaw is much safer than say Garrett Richards, who is a popular option on tonight's slate.

You are essentially gaining an edge by using volatility in baseball to obtain an elite stack and allow the pitchers to fall into place. We haven't had an option like this in quite some time so I would fully suggest following it!

I definitely hope some recency bias depresses the ownership for the Jays a tiny bit after last night's dud. They'll still be super popular, but I think the Yankees might prove chalkier tonight.
