MLB Mobile Sports Betting Toolkit
Tonight we are lined up for a full slate of action, no Coors game and also, fingers crossed, no major weather concerns. This is what I love about daily fantasy baseball – when we are able to build the best possible lineup without the “extra factors" to be concerned about. Tonight, this article will be written a bit different. I am going to give you high owned, medium owned and low owned stacks to target. Stacking is a great strategy but not the most optimal stack is the most optimal to win. This article will help you win (or at least point in the right direction mentally).
High Owned Stack
Bos @ Tex – Game Total of 9.5
This game is going to likely be one of the most popular stacks tonight for one simple reason – the highest Vegas total of the night. Vegas totals are one of the best parameters to judge ownership in GPPs. The highest total game of the night will surely be the highest owned.
Since both sides are in play, I am going to give you the top plays in this game for both sides. Feel free to stack one side or stack both sides. High Vegas total is directly correlated to more fantasy points. Players will be listed in order of how much I like them.

Medium Owned Stack
Was @ Cin – Game Total of 8
Washington and Cincinnati both are teams that are stacked very minimally. However, when a stack does go off you will be competing at the top of the leaderboards with less competition than if you have a high-owned stack.
I don't mind stacking either side of this game, however, my lean is to stack the Washington Nationals going to Great American Ballpark against DeSclafani. They are one of the hottest teams in baseball and can put lots of runs on the board.
On the other side, Stephen Strasburg carries a heavy name without the heavy stats – especially on the road. Teams that are facing Stras rarely are stacked in GPPs even though he has shown the propensity to have blowups. Tonight, Strasburg has to go on the road and face a strong hitting top of the order in a hitter's ballpark. The Reds make for a very sneaky GPP option and can be considered medium/low owned.

Low Owned Stack
Pit @ SD – Game Total of 6.5
This is a game that I promise you will have very low ownership attached to it. However, we will not be playing both sides of this stack. Instead, we will be targeting the Pittsburgh Pirates going up against James Shields. Shields, as well as the rest of the Padres staff, have seen many more home runs given up against them than they are use to. In fact, there have been more home runs in Petco this year than any other year to start a season. There is some misconceptions and question around how great Petco plays to pitchers versus hitters. The fence got pushed in during the 2013 season and last year the Padres had a putrid offense, which helped those park factors. This year, the addition of some big bats in the offense, in fact, has led Petco to be the eighth best venue for home runs this season. While this may change moving forward, I am going to use it as reason to be contrarian and stack a power hitting team like the Pirates.
