Guess who is the top cash game play once again this week. Yes, that is correct, it is Mr. Tom Brady once again. I am starting to run out of things to say about Brady. He is second in yards passing per game with 339 and first in touchdown passes with 22. He has scored at least 22 fantasy points in all but one game and that game was just shy finishing with 19. The Patriots once again have the highest team total on the board and, oh yeah, they get to face the Giants. Yes, the team that gave up 7 touchdowns to Drew Brees and is allowing the second most passing yards per game with 308. Don't over think this, Brady is expensive but well worth the salary.

Maybe I have been wrong about Dalton. He has been fantastic this year. He has averaged the fourth most fantasy points per game at the position and is top 10 in both touchdown passes and passing yards per game. The Texans only give up the eighth most passing yards per game but are allowing 25.6 points per game. They are also in the top third in giving up fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Dalton is still under priced on DraftKings and has been a safe cash game play weekly.

If you are spending down from Brady on this slate, Bortles is the player to look at. He has taken a major step forward in his second year and is averaging 274 yards per game and over two touchdown passes. He has scored at least 19 fantasy points in four of his past five games and gets to face the Ravens, who give up the second most fantasy points per game to the position. I like Bortles price a lot better on DraftKings where he is an absolute steal at $5,600.

Derek Carr is on fire and has 11 touchdown passes and is averaging over 300 yards in his past three games. He has gone for at least 23 fantasy points in those games and looks like a seasoned pro, not a second-year quarterback. The Raiders look like they will be without their top back and will be asking Carr to do even more for them. Not the best matchup in the world against the Vikings, but I don't think it matters much with the way Carr has been playing.

Speaking of hot quarterbacks, can you name one hotter than Mr. Cool Brees? I know I can't. Brees has 10, that is right 10, touchdown passes, 892 yards and 78.68 FanDuel points in his last two games. He now ranks first in passing yards per game with 345 and gets to face off against the Redskins in a game Vegas has as a shootout. Washington is a decent defense despite what you may think. They rank ninth in passing yards allowed per game and rank in the bottom half for fantasy points allowed per game. They are also coming off a game in which they held Tom Brady to his lowest fantasy output of the season. Can they cool off Brees this week? I doubt it, but just in case they can, I am only playing Brees in GPPs.

Cam Newton would win MVP if the season ended right now. He has been fantastic in leading the Panthers to a perfect record. He has thrown for 1,820 yards and 14 scores despite having no name wide receivers as his starters. Where his value really lies is in his running ability. He is averaging 42.88 rushing yards per game and has five rushing scores on the season. The problem is he faces off against those pesky Titans who are only giving up 218 passing yards a game. They do have a horrible run defense, but if they are able to keep Newton in the pocket, he could be in for a long day.

I love Kirk Cousins this week against the awful Saints defense. The Saints give up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks and have given up nine passing scores the past two weeks. Cousins has been up and down this year but did score over 30 fantasy points just two weeks ago. At his price point, you will be hard pressed to find someone with as much upside as Cousins.

Big Ben is saying he may play this week, but I am not buying it with the Steelers having a bye next week. If he does not suit up, that will give Landry Jones another start. Jones has looked good in relief but struggled in his one start this season, but he gets a great matchup against the Browns. The Browns give up 27.4 points per game and the seventh most fantasy points to the position. The Steelers may not lean on Jones too much as the Browns also have the worst run defense in the NFL. Jones may not have a high floor, but if he can find his stud wide outs for a score or two, at his price, he may just pay off big time in a GPP.

I'm paying up for Brady, or paying down to Bortles on almost all of my rosters this week.
