1. Sam Bradford (Eagles) – Concussion & Shoulder Injury

Buccaneers at Eagles (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Sam Bradford was hit hard by the Dolphins Chris McCain which resulted in a concussion and non-throwing shoulder injury for Bradford. Bradford was having a stellar day completing 19 of his 25 passes for 236 yards and a score in only two and half quarters. He was looking more and more comfortable every week and looked poised to finally put it all together. The extend of his shoulder injury is unknown and he will have to pass concussion protocol before being cleared to play which makes him highly iffy for next weeks game against the Bucs. Mark Sanchez will be called on to start and despite throwing a bone-headed interception looked good in relief. Sanchez is an intriguing GPP play in the Eagles offense at his price point if he does get the start.

2. Julian Edelman (Patriots) – Broken Foot

Bills at Patriots (Monday, 8:30 PM ET)

Another week, another Patriots victory and another week of a major injury on offense. Last week the Patriots lost their scat back Dion Lewis for the season and this week it is their top wide out Edelman to a broken foot. Edelman will require surgery on the foot and while it is unknown how long he will be out, one thing is for certain he will not be suiting up Monday night. The Patriots live off the next man up mantra and will have every one pick up the slack. Danny Amendola was the biggest benefit of the Edelman's departure catching 10 passes for 79 yards. Amendola has always shown the ability when given playing time and makes for a great value this week.

3. Peyton Manning (Broncos) – Torn Plantar Fascia

Broncos at Bears (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Anyone who watched the Broncos game yesterday could tell something was not right with Manning. He just did not look like the Manning of old and stunk up the joint. Manning only had 5 completions for 35 yards and 4 interceptions. He scored -2.6 points and really affected the value of the Broncos other skill players. By the grace of Gary Kubiak, Manning was finally benched for Brock Osweiler. It later game out that night that Manning was indeed injured and is on a day to day basis. With the Broncos having the third seed in the AFC virtually locked up and no chance to catch any of the teams ahead of them it looks like Manning will miss at least next week and Osweiler will get his first start. Osweiler looked okay in relief and does have a big arm. Against a Bears team that has looked great recently I will be in wait and see mode before playing Brock.

4. Emmanuel Sanders (Broncos) – Possible Concussion

Broncos at Bears (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Sanders was able to suit up and play with his ankle injury and was knocked out of the game due to a hit from Daniel Sorensen. He was tested for a concussion on the sideline and passed but did not come back into the game. This may have been due to his ankle injury and Sanders scheduled to play limited snaps anyways. The fact the Broncos were down huge also could have played a role. It remains to be seen if Sanders will be ready on Sunday and if he is not who would pick up the slack.

5. Ryan Matthews (Eagles) – Concussion

Buccaneers at Eagles (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Matthews looked great once again in his part-time role for the Eagles before being knocked out of the game with a concussion. Matthews had 40 total yards and a score before leaving in the third-quarter. If he is unable to play next week it looks like we may see Darren Sproles reemerge as the Eagles third down back. Sproles has not seen much playing time since the Eagles game against the Jets but is lightning in a bottle. I do not think either back should really be on your fantasy radar unless you are looking for a total punt at the position

6. Landry Jones (Steelers) – Ankle Injury

Bye Week

In one of the weirdest turn of events I have seen in an NFL game Landry Jones who was starting for the injured Ben Roethlisberger was knocked out of the game on the Steelers third drive of the game. Jones was replaced by non other than Big Ben who went on to light up the Browns for 379 yards and 3 scores. The Jones injury was a blessing in disguise for owners of Antonio Brown who had himself another big day with 10 catches for 139 yards, 2 scores and the play of the day. Martavis Bryant had a huge day as well catching another touchdown pass and having 179 receiving yards. While the owners of the Steelers pass catchers were happy with Jones' injury owners of DeAngleo Williams were not. Williams was schedule to be a workhouse back against a weak Browns defense and was basically forgotten about until the final drive. Big Ben should be fully healthy in two weeks after the Steelers bye and should be one of the names you look at for your quarterback spot.
