1. Devonta Freeman (Falcons) – Concussion

Vikings at Falcons (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

After three carriers Freeman's day was over with a concussion and with it a majority of players fantasy lineups. Freeman was a highly owned player for good reason as everything was set up for him to have a monster game against the Colts. He looked great in his limited action and had 43 yards on those three carries. Tevin Coleman replaced Freeman and looked awful with only 5 more rushing yards than Freeman had on 5 times the carries. Coleman finished the day with 17 rushes for 48 yards and zero catches. Coleman lost his starting job to Freeman due to injury but it is unlikely Freeman will lose his to Coleman with the way he has been playing. With a tough match up against the Vikings, Coleman is a player I will be avoiding this week.

2. Charcandrick West (Chiefs) – Hamstring Injury

Bills at Chiefs (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

The other very highly owned running back this week was West and as luck would have it, West's day ended early as well. West left the game after 13 touches. He had 64 total yards and was poised to have another big game. Spencer Ware took over for West and had himself a huge game scoring twice and having 101 total yards. West is looking iffy for this week and if he sits Ware should get the start and majority of the carries but does get a touch match up against the Bills. The Bills have a decent run defense and are allowing under 100 yards a game. This is a situation I will be avoiding in cash games.

3. Case Keenum (Rams) – Concussion

Rams at Bengals (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Case Keenum got the start after the Rams benched Nick Foles and didn't look any better than Foles did. He had 136 yards and a score but completed under 50% of his passes. He was knocked out towards the end of the game but in a shocking move was allowed to continue to play besides being visibly concussed. Keenum was barley able to stand straight and should have been removed from the game. As it was he stayed in and the Rams lost the game because Keenum could not perform the way he should have been able to. Looks like the Rams will have to turn back to Foles who only has 7 passing touchdowns on the season. This is a situation you can avoid the rest of the season.

4. Zach Ertz (Eagles) – Concussion

Eagles at Lions (Thursday, 12:30 PM ET)

Another week where a host of players went down with concussions. Ertz was one of those players and was forced out after a big hit in the second quarter. He finished the day with 2 catches for 12 yards. Ertz was starting to break out before this game and had gone 5 straight games with at least 4 catches and 40 yards. The Eagles will turn to Mr. Old Faithful Brent Celek on a short week who should pick up more targets than he was already seeing. On a short Thanksgiving slate, Celek who has 11 catches for 213 yards over the past two weeks looks like a viable option. I especially love him on DraftKings where he is cheap.

5. Joe Flacco (Ravens) – Torn ACL and MCL

Raven at Browns (Monday, 8:30 PM ET)

If you are a Ravens fan, Sunday's game was tough to watch. The Ravens were hit with two more key injuries and despite the win their season looks finished. One of their big injuries was their star quarterback Mr. Joe Flacco who tore his ACL and MCL on the very last drive. Flacco was 1 yard shy of his 3rd straight 300 yard game and was the engine that made the Ravens run. He is done for the year and will most likely miss the start of next season. The Ravens will have to turn to Matt Schaub who has not started a game since 2013 and looked washed up in his last full time run as a starter. This injury stings even more when you take into account the Ravens let Tyrod Taylor go to the Bills. The good news is the Ravens do have an extra day to prepare and a great match up against the Browns on Monday night. I personally will be avoiding Schaub as I have no faith in him what so ever.

6. Justin Forsett (Ravens) – Broken Right Arm

Raven at Browns (Monday, 8:30 PM ET)

The Ravens other big injury on the day is Justin Forsett who broke his arm and is most likely done for the season. This injury is a little easier to stomach as the Ravens have Buck Allen waiting in the wings. Allen has shown flashes all season and looks to be more than capable of replacing Forsett in the short term. Allen touched the ball 27 times after Forsett went down on Sunday and produced 115 total yards. With a great match up against the Browns who allow a league worst 138.8 rushing yards per game and Schaub at quarterback, Allen is a player that I will be having in a majority of my lineups next week.
