1. Rob Gronkowski (Patriots) – Right Knee Injury

Patriots vs Eagles (Sunday, 4:25 PM ET)

Another week and another major injury to a Patriots pass catcher. This week it was the Gronk who went down and had to be carted off the field. Gronk was doing Gronk things against the Broncos with 6 catches for 88 yards and a score. The Patriots have stated they do not think that Gronkowski's injury is serious and it remains to be seen if he will miss any time. If he does miss time it will be next man up once again for the Pats and Scott Chandler will take over. Chandler lead the Patriots in targets with 11 and turned those for 5 catches, 58 yards and a touchdown. Chandler has not been very involved in the offense prior to this week but does have the background to be a featured player after coming from Buffalo in the off-season.

2. Tony Romo (Cowboys) – Hairline Fracture Left Clavicle

Cowboys at Redskins (Monday, 8:30 PM ET)

Well the Cowboys season is official over as Romo re-injured his collarbone and is out for the season. We know the drill by now, Cassel will take over and play game manager. Cassel only had one game over 11 fantasy points in his time starting earlier in the season and that came against an awful Eagles defense. I am not going to be rostering any player in the Cowboy passing game for the rest of the season.

3. Jimmy Graham (Seahawks) – Torn Patellar Tendon

Seahawks at Vikings (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Jimmy Graham was lost for the season with the worst injury a football player could suffer. A torn patellar tendon has been a death sentence for NFL players and very few have returned to form after suffering the injury. Victor Cruz is a great example of a player who has suffered the injury who has not been able to return. Luke Wilson will pick up the starts and snaps at tight end for the Seahawks but Doug Baldwin looks to be the one to benefit the most. Baldwin is coming off the best game of his career and has three straight games with at least 6 catches and 60 yards.

4. Allen Hurns (Jaguars) – Concussion

Jaguars at Titans (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Allen Hurns suffered a nasty hit that looked to be worse than it turned out to be. He was stretchered off the field and taken to the hospital and thankfully did not have an injury beyond a concussion. While concussions are serious injuries it is a lot better than what was originally thought. It is looking like Hurns will miss at least next week and Marqise Lee should be the one to pick up the slack. Lee is working his way back from injury and is picking up more snaps weekly.

5. Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers)– Concussion

Steelers vs Colts (Sunday, 8:30 PM ET)

Another week and another Big Ben injury. This time it is a concussion that was suffered in the 4th quarter after Ben had another great day with 456 yards. It remains to be seen if Big Ben will pass concussion protocol in time to play the Colts. If he plays he is a top option with the way he is playing. If he is not able to go Landry Jones will pick up the start once again and the Steelers passing game will take a big hit and can be benched as a whole. This is something to monitor throughout the week.

6. Chris Johnson (Cardinals) – Left Knee Injury/ Andre Ellington (Cardinals) – Left Foot Injury

Cardinals at Rams (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

The Cardinals suffered two injuries in their back field when both Chris Johnson and Andre Ellington being forced to leave the game. Both players look like they will be missing some time and both are a big blow. Johnson has looked like his old self this season and had rushed for 814 yards and 3 scores this season while Ellington was just starting to get back into form after suffering an injury earlier in the season. If both players are unable to go the electric David Johnson will finally get a chance to show what he can do with a full workload. D. Johnson has looked great in his limited touches and has 8 total touchdowns on the season.

7. Jeremy Hill (Bengals)– Ankle Injury

Bengals at Browns (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Jeremy Hill was injured late in the game against the Rams but has stated that he is okay. It remains to be seen if the Bengals say that his ankle injury is nothing. Hill was starting to look like the back we all thought he would be in the beginning of the season and had 100 total yards against the Rams after scoring 2 times last week. If Hill is unable to go Gio Bernard will get the full time work and would be a great fantasy option. Bernard has 958 total yards while splitting time with Hill this season and against the worst run defense in the NFL would be one of your top backs. This is something I will be monitoring all week.

Looks like Gronk's injury wasn't as bad as it seemed. That would of been devastating.
