Jets @ Giants

The Giants scored 20 points in the second quarter, and none in the other three, as the Jets came from behind, winning the game in overtime.

It was Ryan Fitzpatrick - Brandon Marshall show in the Big Apple, as Marshall finished with a 12-131-1 line. He has posted two monster lines in a row, while Eric Decker followed with an 8-101-0 line. Chasing the game from behind, we saw a lot of Bilal Powell, for really the first time this season. He had 13 targets, with an 8-91-1 line. This resulted in Chris Ivory only having 10 carries, for 47 yards.

Jets offense is built to play both ways, whether you believe it or not. This is still a ground and pound team, but you can rely on Brandon Marshall for steady targets.

The Giants are one of the more versatile offenses in the league, and by versatile, I mean Odell Beckham Jr. will make average catches, or spectacular ones. He is really the only Giant worth rostering right now. He saw 11 targets, catching six of them for 149 yards, and a touchdown. With Julio Jones dealing with a bad quarterback down in Atlanta, and DeAndre Hopkins limping towards the finish line, OBJ looks to be the guy to pay up for the rest of the way.

Cardinals @ Rams

The Cardinals did not have to do much in St. Louis, as they cruised in stopped Todd Gurley and left. I am beginning to worry about the state of the Rams, especially with Todd Gurley sitting there. Nick Foles looked terrible as usual, and the defense has struggled yet again. We have been counting on the defense to keep things close, just so Gurley could see 20 carries. Foles also has to be even just subpar for that to happen as well, but neither has happened. As the season dwindles down, no need to use the Rams going forward.

If you got yourself some bare minimum David Johnson this week, enjoy the big time value play. Bruce Arians stuck to his words, and gave the rookie back over 20 touches. He rushed for 99 yards, on 22 carries. He caught two balls, for 21 yards, and a score. The 100 yard bonus on DraftKings would of been nice. I doubt his price gets a monster bump on both sites, so expect him to be a solid value back again next week.

Carson Palmer torched one of the better secondaries in the league, with 356 yards, and two scores. It was John Brown, and Michael Floyd who had the 100 yard receiving games, but J.J. Nelson and Johnson with the scores. Floyd surprisingly saw 12 targets, Brown 8, and Fitzgerald 11. It is always tricky figuring out who gets the end zone appearances in Arizona.

Falcons @ Bucs

Shall we start with the Falcons? The team with two weapons we want to desperately deploy each week, yet get burned by. Matt Ryan had another mediocre week under center, against a poor secondary, and a decimated front seven. Devonta Freeman came back this week from a concussion, and looked great, but missed out on the touchdown appearance. He was a nice play on DK, with 10 receptions, for 56 yards, and 47 on the ground. FD, not so much for his price.

We cannot exactly be thrilled with an 8-93-0 line from Jones, but hey at least Ryan knew he was on the team this week. He saw 17 targets, but catching eight of them is not very efficient. With Jones facing Josh Norman twice over the next four weeks. The week 17 matchup against the Saints looks to be the last time we use Jones in 2015.

This Tampa team is fun to watch, and will have a bright offense as they get older. Jameis Winston had a decent game, and the habit of rushing touchdowns lately has helped his floor. He finished with 227 yards, linking up with Mike Evans for a score, and rushing in another. Winston continues to spread the ball out, with nobody seeing over eight targets. Evans ceiling is a bit limited right now with Vincent Jackson back, and now Austin Seferian-Jenkins.

Doug Martin deserved his own short paragraph, as he finally found the end zone, after a tough day at the office. We have seen so many time Martin work his way down the field just to be vultured. This time Charles Sims carried the workload down to the five, as Martin punched it in. Martin finished the day with 95 yards, and a score. He had 25 carries, as he continues his excellent 2015 campaign.

Seahawks @ Vikings

Well this was convincing, and Seattle has started to gain some momentum, especially Russell Wilson. He threw for 274 yards, and three scores. He also rushed for 51 yards, and a touchdown. Doug Baldwin followed up a three touchdown week 12, wth a 5-94-2 line, as all of a sudden Wilson has a top target? I am Ron Burgundy? He saw just seven targets, so I am not so sure about that. Tyler Lockett had a 7-90-0 line, seeing seven targets as well.

Thomas Rawls has continued to impress against another good defense, rushing for 101 yards, and a score. He carried the ball 19 times, and caught all three targets for 22 yards.

Minnesota did not score an offensive touchdown this game, and Adrian Peterson was held to 18 yards, on eight carries. After Kyle Rudolph had 19 targets in two games, he saw just four, catching three for 13 yards. Seattle looked like the Seattle of old, which meant nobody had any week 13 relevance for Minnesota.

Texans @ Bills

If you were like me, and thought this game would have some big scoring in it, we were right. 51 points between the two teams, as Tyrod Taylor and Brian Hoyer combined for six touchdowns in the air. Hoyer linked up with DeAndre Hopkins this week, who had a 5-88-1 line. He saw just nine targets, which seems below his norm this year. Cecil Shorts had an emergence in week 13, catching six balls, for 91 yards, on ten targets. It was still guys like Ryan Griffin, and Chris Polk finding the end zone. You know the guys you would never roster? Hoyer and the passing is where you want to target for touchdowns.

TyGOAT Taylor, TyGOD Taylor, whatever you want to call him went off yet again. He threw for 211 yards, and three scores. Buffalo is finally throwing to Sammy Watkins, who had a 3-109-1 line. Charles Clay had the other solid line, going 4-66-1. This Buffalo offense has looked much more balanced the last few weeks, meaning big things for the run game, and passing game.

LeSean McCoy was banged up a bit in this game, but delivered a 112 rushing yards, on 21 carries. It was disappointing he saw just one target in the passing game, and did not find the end zone. He still has the looks of a very valuable fantasy back going forward.

Ravens @ Dolphins

Two teams in complete disarray, 28 total points combined seems about right. For the Ravens, it was the Buck Allen show, or Javorius is you want to be formal. He had 63 yards on the ground, but posted a 12-107-1 receiving line. He had a monster day, and was the only Baltimore player worth a damn. Kamar Aiken saw 11 targets, as he continues to show number one wideout volume. The problem is Matt Schuab throws more touchdowns to the other team than his own.

Miami's offense looked lost again, although it was nice to see Lamar Miller get 20 carries. He had 113 yards, proving yet again he can be a very efficient back when given touches. Apparently Miller is only useful after a coach has been fired. Tannehill threw for 86 yards, and one touchdown. Thanks for rocking my world Tannehill. He did deliver some good, as Devante Parker had a 3-63-1 line. Parker was a semi-popular value play, that many didn't play as lock time came about.

Miami is one dysfunctional offense, that I cannot figure out, but DFS is fun.

Bengals @ Browns

The Browns really give us plenty of options to target against them.

Andy Dalton - 14/19, 220 YDS, 3 TD (1 Rush)

Jeremy Hill - 22 ATT, 98 YDS, 1 TD

A.J. Green - 5 REC, 128 YDS, 1 TD

Defense - 1 Fumble Recovery, 3 Sacks, 1 INT, 3 Points Allowed

Hell, even Mike Nugent hit three field goals, and four extra points.

We could of grabbed the entire Bengals team in cash and been fine. It was nice to see Hill get 20+ carries against a bad run defense, as well as Cincy keeping their foot on the gas.

The Browns are the Browns, and they have their purpose in our fantasy world.

Jaguars @ Titans

This game featured all the fantasy points you needed for week 13. I mean all of them.

Jacksonville went full force in the passing game, and Allen Robinson was the man this weekend. He posted a 10-153-3 line. Blake Bortles threw for 322 yards, and 5 scores, linking with Julius Thomas, and Rashad Greene. Even T.J. Yeldon gave us a big game, but about a week late. He had 57 yards, and a score on the ground. He also had four receptions, for 79 yards. This was a fun game if you got it right, and it was very hard to miss on this Jacksonville side.

Marcus Mariota put on his Oregon uniform this week. By that, I mean he rushed for 112 yards, and a score. This was in addition to his 268 yards in the air, and three scores. Mariota went off for an 87 yard TD run, essentially locking him up as one of the best week 13 plays. He also delivered touchdown passes to Dorial Green-Beckham, and Delanie Walker. The only two guys to take shots on in your lineups. DGB finished with a 5-119-1 line, and Walker had an 8-92-1 line.

This game had 41 points scored in the 4th quarter, and basically resembled a Golden State Warriors game for DFS points.

49ers @ Bears

Welp... This is not a fun writeup for me, due to having too much of Cutler-Jeffery in week 13. Watching Cam Newton, A.J. Dalton, and Big Ben go off, knowing you liked them too, just made it hurt even more.

Cutler threw for 202 yards, and one interception, that found the end zone. He targeted Alshon Jeffery 12 times, completing just four catches, for 85 yards. Chicago's offense looked less than stellar, in a matchup where you'd think Da Bears would come alive.

Matt Forte was the only one to take advantage of the matchup, rushing for 84 yards, and a score. He also caught five balls, for 39 yards. Jeremy Langford rushed for 59 yards, on 12 carries.

I am not sure the 49ers wanted to win this game, given they were in the hunt for the top pick, but they pulled it out. Blaine Gabbert threw for just 196 yards, and tossed the game winning touchdown to Torrey Smith in overtime. He also rushed for 75 yards, and a score. Chicago's defense looked to be getting back on track, but let's rethink that. Shaun Draughn was a value play on some radars, who has put together above average stats in consecutive weeks. He rushed for 36 yards, and a score, also tallying five catches, for 50 yards. He is a much better play on DraftKings.

Broncos @ Chargers

The Broncos ran the ball 39 times, played solid defense, and left San Diego with an easy win. C.J. Anderson left the game with an ankle injury, and if he misses any time, it clears the way for Ronnie Hillman to see 20+ touches.

The passing game upside in Denver is dead until further notice. You have to imagine with a young QB, and a top defense, they will be content with running the ball, and having Brock Osweiler manage the game. Demaryius Thomas had a 6-61-1 line, which can be found for much cheaper. Emmanuel Sanders had just three catches for 19 yards.

If Anderson is out, Hillman and the defense look like the only attractive plays for the rest of the season.

San Diego has more players on the injury report than the active roster at this point. Dontrelle Inman left the game early, which looked like a very serious injury. Philip Rivers has a decimated offensive line, and really just Antonio Gates now to throw to. He led the team with nine targets, catching six, for 50 yards. Opposing defenses against San Diego will have plenty of upside going forward.

Chiefs @ Raiders

The Chiefs have continued to put up points at an enormous rate. Alex Smith had a three touchdown game, two through the air, and one on the ground. With Kansas City playing San Diego next week, the run game looked very split this week. Charcandrick West rushed for nine carries, Spencer Ware for seven. Ware ended up with the touchdown.

Jeremy Maclin had the big day, with a 9-95-2 line, on ten targets. Smith only looked at a total of five receivers on the day. Travis Kelce was in a prime matchup, but saw just three targets, posting a 2-42-0 line.

Oakland put up three touchdowns on what is now a stingy defense. Latavius Murray saw another week of 20 carries, rushing for 86 yards, and a score. We have seen some touch stability down the stretch with Murray, making him an enticing option in three of the next four weeks.

Derek Carr continues to spread the ball out in high volume, hitting 11 different wide receivers. Michael Crabtree was the only one to see double-digit targets, posting a 5-45-1 line. Crabtree is the Oakland wideout I feel most best about deploying in cash games. Amari Cooper continues to be a bit up and down, making him a better GPP target. If Carr keeps spreading the ball out, upside seems very limited.

Eagles @ Patriots

The Eagles went into Foxboro, and shocked New England in a big way you could say. They scored two D/ST touchdowns, by the way of Darren Sproles, and Malcolm Jenkins. Sproles led the team in rushes, and touches this week. He carried the ball 15 times, for 66 yards. He also caught four passes, for 34 yards. All that DeMarco Murray money was wisely spent. Jordan Matthews caught a touchdown, believe it or not, posting a 3-36-1 line. Philly's pass game did not have to do much, but they have absolutely zero upside with Bradford under center.

Never trust the Eagles.

The Pats are without many major pieces, so I can't say this is is something that caught me off guard personally. James White posted a 10-115-1 line out of the backfield, taking over the Dion Lewis role from earlier in the season. Both him and Danny Amendola had 13 targets. Amendola had a 7-62-1 line. If you took advantage of a cheap Scott Chandler, he had a 4-61-1 line. Given New England was forced to throw the ball a ton, this helped the upside of the wideouts.

Tom Brady scored four touchdowns, one on the ground, and even tacked on 36 receiving yards. He had more yards than almost every Eagles player, except he tied Jordan Matthews.

Panthers @ Saints

41 points from this Carolina offense, and New Orleans actually jumped out to an early lead, allowing the game flow to favor Cam Newton. He threw for 331 yards, and five scores. Greg Olsen and Ted Ginn were the big play wideouts, with 22 combined targets. Olsen posted a 9-129-0 line, while Ginn had two scores.

Who do the Saints play next week? Tampa Bay.

Jonathan Stewart had another 20 carry game, rushing for 82 yards, and a score. He continues to be an excellent play at his price, and is given a steady workhorse amount of touches.

The Saints put up 38 points, which surprised me. Brandin Cooks put up a 6-104-1 line, and Brandon Coleman put up a 4-73-1 line. The absence of Willie Snead increased the role for Coleman. This is usually what we can rely on for the Saints - staying in the game, and giving up a ton of points. Mark Ingram had another solid, yet lackluster game. He had 79 total yards, and a touchdown. He was efficient on the ground yet again, and targeted six times in the passing game.

Colts @ Steelers

This game went as planned. Big Ben threw for 364 yards, and four scores. Antonio Brown posted an 8-118-2 line, while Martavis Bryant posted a 4-114-1 line. Markus Wheaton found the end zone yet again, with a 3-50-1 line. We knew the Steelers' offense would thrive at home against an average defense.

DeAngelo Williams carried the load 26 times, for 134 yards. No touchdown, but he did also have five catches for 31 yards. This is still one of the best DFS offenses when healthy, and one you can truly stack.

Chasing a game with Matt Hasellbeck, and Charlie Whitehurst under center is not ideal. This was over at the half. Andrew Luck is due back in week 15, but Colts could be completely out of play next week, given the status of their QB situation.

Avoid!!!
