1. Arian Foster (Texans) – Torn Achilles

Titans at Texans (Sunday, 1:10 PM ET)

Foster has been a regular on injury reports over the last few years, and unfortunately for his owners and really all football fans, he tore his Achilles tendon on Sunday and is done for the season. The list of injuries he's come back from is impressive, including a torn hamstring, back surgery, and groin surgery. This will be his toughest injury to come back from, and he's going on 30. What does it mean fantasy wise for the Texans? Well, they look terrible against a motivated Dolphins team Sunday, scoring all their points when the game was well out of reach. Alfred Blue should assume the starters roll, unless they look outside the current roster. Blue is a low upside play, but offers a somewhat safe floor for cash game play. He won't find his way onto many of my rosters, because I think the Texans will just start throwing more than they already do. Nate Washington has big game in garbage time against the Dolphins, with a slash of 9-172-2. Washington and Deandre Hopkins will both be great play against the Titans this weekend, expect Hopkins ownership to be very high despite a mediocre performance in Miami.

2. Joseph Randle (Cowboys) – Oblique Strain

Seahawks at Cowboys (Sunday, 4:25 PM ET)

This will be a very interesting situation to monitor this weekend, as Randle is expected to miss time. Whether that means one week, or more, for DFS purposes all we care about is the weekend against the Seahawks. If Randle in unable to go, and I expect that to be the case, Darren McFadden and Christine Michael both make for intriguing options. I don't have myself among the Michael truthers that patrol the Twitter world, but I do think he is better long term option than McFadden. Run DMC absolutely gashed the Giants on Sunday for 152 yards on 29 carries, so he looks to be the #1 going forward. I look for the Cowboys to get Michael 10+ touches against this former team, so we might have to wait another week for him to be fully unleashed.

3. Davante Adams (Packers) – Ankle Injury

Packers at Broncos (Sunday, 8:25 ET)

Early reports from the Packers are that Adams will return to action this weekend in primetime against the Broncos. This will be a huge boost to their attack, and helps QB Aaron Rodgers out more than anyone. The Packers will have their hands full in the thin Rockies air against the #1 defence in the NFL. Usually, Rodgers is one of the safest plays and a staple of cash game lineups, but the match up this week will scare enough people off of him that he might actually be a contrarian play for once. I wouldn't recommend either in cash games, but will have some exposure in GPP's for sure.

4. Odell Beckham Jr. (Giants) – Hamstring Injury

Giants at Saints (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Beckham has seen a drastic drop in production over the last two games since aggravating his hamstring, with just 11 catches for 96 yards. He's got a great match up this week against the Saints, in what should be a high scoring game. He only had six targets in a close game against the Cowboys on Sunday, who did a good job making life tough on him by being very physical at the line of scrimmage and often having safety help over the top. Beckham isn't expected to miss any time, and I think the Giants will want to target him a lot more than six times against the Saints. His price scares me in cash games, but he makes for a perfect high upside tournament play.

5. Dez Bryant (Cowboys) – Foot Surgery

Seahawks at Cowboys (Sunday, 4:25 PM ET)

Boy, do the Cowboys need Tony Romo and Dez Bryant back. They've lost four in a row, with three of the four coming in heartbreaking fashion. Ultimately, Romo is more important to the whole offense, but he won't be back for another 3-4 weeks. Dez looks like he could return from a broken foot this weekend against the Seahawks, giving Matt Cassel a bona fide weapon to work with. The matchup is a tough one against the Seahawks, but Bryants presence alone makes every single Cowboys offensive a better option than without him in the lineup. I wouldn't recommend any Cowboy for cash games, but a Cassel-Bryant combination makes for an interesting mini stack in a tournament. I expect the Cowboys to run early and often against the Seahawks, and with Bryant on the field, it makes it harder to stack the box against the run.

I feel bad for Foster. I am not so sure he can return from this.
