Week 7 was full of late-game heroics, and multiple HUGE prizes were handed out. I'll be breaking down the big winner's lineups on both FanDuel and DraftKings, and highlight the key plays that changed their lives forever. Let's get things kicked off by looking at the big $500,000 winning lineup in the $25 Buy-In FanDuel Sunday Million:

Our big winner this week was “brettg83", who has won 871 total games on FanDuel, with 35 of those wins coming in NFL action. He managed to hold off the second-place finisher by just 3 points, and may owe Mr. Blair Walsh a few bucks for his help. This lineup was a combination of low ownership and solid performances. Let's break down the winning lineup:
QB – Andrew Luck ($8,900) vs. New Orleans (8.8% owned) – Despite an abysmal first half, Luck pulled it together late to salvage his fantasy day. He ended with 360 total yards, 27 of them on the ground, and 3 TD passes to go along with a pair of interceptions. It didn't quite happen how we all expected, but Luck ended with a solid line from a DFS perspective.
RB – Todd Gurley ($7,400) vs. Cleveland (54.1% owned) –The chalkiest of all chalk plays, Gurley dominated the Browns run “defense" to the tune of 163 total yards and a pair of scores. He was the most popular play on the slate by far, and he certainly didn't disappoint.
RB – Lamar Miller ($6,700) vs. Houston (8.5% owned) – Wow. The new era in Miami is off to an incredible start. Miller did nearly all of his damage in the first half, and ended up with a staggering 236 total yards and scored on the ground and through the air. He was the Devonta Freeman of Week 7.
WR – T.Y. Hilton ($7,700) vs. New Orleans (11.8% owned) – If you watched this game, it seemed like every time you looked up, Hilton was running wide-open down the sideline for a TD (at least in the second half). He racked up a whopping 15 targets, but Andrew Luck only connected with him 4 times. He made those catches count though, totaling 150 yards and a pair of scores.
WR – Stefon Diggs ($5,800) at Detroit (15.5% owned) – One of the most talked-about players on Sunday morning, Diggs backed up last week's big game with another one in Week 7. He grabbed 6 balls for 108 yards and a score, and even added 9 rushing yards for good measure against the Lions' suspect secondary.
WR – Julio Jones ($9,100) at Tennessee (16.1% owned) – While a 9-92-1 line is a great line for most players, for Jones, it is just another day at the office. He nearly had a second score that went to scoring review, only to have the ball spotted just outside the goal line. All in all, the Falcons were disappointing in this narrow victory, but Jones did just enough to justify his price tag.
TE – Ladarius Green ($5,100) vs. Oakland (15.2% owned) – The Chargers nearly got run out of their own stadium in this one, and Green (much like Philip Rivers), salvaged his game late. He grabbed just 4 balls for 45 yards, but added a score and a couple 2-point conversion catches as well.
K – Blair Walsh ($4,700) at Detroit (1.4% owned) – In true Cairo Santos-style, Walsh outscored Julio Jones after kicking 5 FG and one XP in the win over the Lions. I can name at least one FanDuel user who is a big fan of kickers right now.
D/ST – St. Louis Rams ($4,500) vs. Cleveland (27.9% owned) – The Rams were the chalk defense, and they wasted no time paying off their tag. They brutalized the Browns to the tune of 4 sacks, 5 turnovers and a TD off a Josh McCown fumble. If you didn't play the Rams, you were behind the 8-ball quickly..
If any of you know where we can find "brettg83" shoot us a tweet @dfcafe! We would love to have him on for an interview and lineup breakdown!
The DraftKings $20 Millionaire Maker produced another $1 Million winner, and in Week 7, it was “Guzzi52314" taking down the top prize with some monster performances. Let's break down the $1,000,000 winning lineup:

QB – Philip Rivers vs. Oakland (18.6% owned) – In his best Andrew Luck impression, Rivers salvaged a terrible performance by the entire Chargers team with a big 4th quarter. He finished with 336 yards through the air, 3 TD, 2 INT, and a pair of 2-point conversion passes in an ugly loss to the Raiders.
RB – Todd Gurley vs. Cleveland (67.1% owned) – No, that number isn't a typo. Gurley was nearly 70% owned, and those who chose to fade him in this matchup paid the price. He destroyed the worst run defense in football, totaling 163 yards and his first 2 NFL touchdowns.
RB – Mark Ingram at Indianapolis (5.3% owned) – Ingram was incredibly efficient on Sunday, racking up 143 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Despite having 2 TDs vultured by Khiry Robinson, he still crushed value against the Colts.
WR – Stefon Diggs at Detroit (17.4% owned) Look who's here again. Diggs had the catch of the week when he hauled in his first touchdown of the season in the win over Detroit. He also hit the 100-yard bonus for good measure.
WR – Mike Evans at Washington (6.3% owned) – Evans finally had a breakout game, as he went off against the Redskins in Week 7. He hauled in 8 passes for 164 yards and a TD on the afternoon in a painful loss for Tampa Bay.
WR – T.Y. Hilton vs. New Orleans (13.6% owned) – As mentioned above, Hilton got free for a pair of long TD grabs, and managed an impressive game. Despite the fact that Andrew Luck couldn't buy a completion in the first half, Hilton's emergence in the second half was a nice turn of events for owners.
TE – Rob Gronkowski vs. New York Jets (7.7% owned) – This was the week to get Gronk at a low ownership level, and he delivered. Once again, he caught a wide-open touchdown pass from Tom Brady, and ended with a solid 11/108/1 line.
FLEX – Lamar Mller vs. Houston (13% owned) – You knew this one was coming. Miller found his way into the final spot on the million-dollar roster, and I don't need to repeat his great numbers. On second thought, here you go again. 236!!! Total yards and a pair of scores, mostly in the first half. If you didn't have Miller, you likely didn't win big money this weekend.
D/ST – St. Louis (32.2% owned) – Not only were the Rams a great play this weekend, they were one of the cheapest defenses in Week 7 on DraftKings. Honestly, I was a little surprised that the number wasn't closer to 40%.
That wraps things up for the big winners in Week 7! Hopefully you had yourself a profitable Week 7 as well, and gained some insight and knowledge from these lineup breakdowns. Lineup construction is absolutely essential in taking down a big tournament, and determining the right combination of low ownership and upside is always the way to set yourself apart from the field. If I would have not made the last second switch from Hilton/Evans to get Hopkins in my lineup I would have been on here. That is life though still a great week. Congrats to all the big winners.
