We are looking ahead at week 11, to find the elite matchups for wide receivers against corners. Using Pro Football Focus's ratings as a base, we are able to get an advanced look at what matchups we can take advantage of. They matchups are broken down into the top tier matchups, middle tier matchups, and matchups to fade. Now the opposing cornerback may not always be on the highlighted receiver, but this is a look at who the highlighted receiver will likely see most of the game. Not every number one cornerback covers the opposing team's wide receiver. They usually stay on their side of the field, and on occasion can shadow a number one. I will continue to edit it during the week, if there is given news of a switch in matchups.

Michael Crabtree - We will want some Raiders' exposure this weekend, and Michael Crabtree has the best matchup of the receiving core. He will see Nevin Lawson, who has been abysmal this season. With Amari Cooper in a battle with Darius Slay, I am leaning towards King Crab.

Danny Amendola - With Julian Edelman down, Danny Amendola will step up in the passing game, and this first week of being the go-to guy, he has a solid matchup. Nickell Robey has covered slot-men this season, and has ranked among the poorer corners.

Calvin Johnson - The Lions have been in disarray, and Calvin Johnson's stats have suffered. He is rated as the 7th best wideout, per PFF, so I wouldn't be so quick to say he has lost a step. He has a great matchup against T.J. Carrie, and the Lions will likely need to keep up with Oakland.

Alshon Jeffrey - After a tough matchup last week against Janoris Jenkins, he will have an easier matchup against Bradley Robey. Denver is a tough matchup for any opposing wideout, and this could be one where we see some shuffling on Jeffrey.

Jarvis Landry - Jarvis Landry continues to dominate targets for Miami, and this week he has a subpar matchup against Byron Jones. I actually love the Miami passing attack as a sneaky stack, as I mention Rishard Matthews below. Jones has been trending downwards in the last few weeks as well.

Demaryius Thomas - Brock Osweiler is under center, but we are strictly looking at the matchup. Thomas against Kyle Fuller is pretty unfair, as he is one of the weaker corners in football. Osweiler was looking towards Thomas when he took over for Manning, and he would be wise to do the same.

Nate Washington - We have seen a few times this season where Antonio Cromartie has been picked on. He ranks as the 99th corner right now, per PFF, which is not surprising with how he has played. With Revis on Hopkins, Washington could be a sneaky play in the Houston passing game.

Dez Bryant - Brent Grimes missed last week with food poisoning, and will line up against Dez Bryant this week. Not a tremendously tough matchup for Bryant, but not one that puts him into the top tier. With Romo back, Dez regains big time upside, and with this matchup it is possible.

Randall Cobb - Minnesota's defense has been stingy this season, and this is a big game for both sides. Randall Cobb has a middle of the road matchup with Captain Munnerlyn, who has steadily been one of the better coverage corners. With the up-and-down nature of Cobb this season, and the matchup, he is a risky play for week 11.

Stefon Diggs - Things have simmered down for Diggs, as they should in this offense. They do not throw a ton, and if they can hand the ball off 25+ times to AP, they will. That aside, Diggs will see plenty of Sam Shields this week.

Rishard Matthews - Brandon Carr will see Matthews this week, and Carr has declined in rating since the season has started. Dallas can be beaten through the air, and Miami is capable of airing it out. I still rank Landry ahead of Matthews, but I will not be afraid to pop him in a tourney or two.

Julio Jones - Julio is an elite wideout, who is nearly matchup proof, but with him facing Vontae Davis this week, he will drop down a tier. I am not going to be avoiding Jones this week, but Indy ranks 9th against opposing #1 WR, which says a lot about Davis.

Mike Evans - Three of the last four games, Evans has posted eight receptions, and over 100 receiving yards. He very well could continue his hot streak this week. He has a great matchup against Nolan Carroll, and I will be targeting Evans plenty this week.

Larry Fitzgerald - This game is intriguing, due to two talented passing attacks, facing off against each other's talented secondaries. Fitz is rated as a top five wideout, and faces Leon Hall, who is an above average slot corner. Fitz lines up all over the place, which means he will see various corners. I like taking a shot with Fitz in tournaments, but I will fade in cash games.

Kamar Aiken - Kamar Aiken is the volume guy now in Baltimore, which has made him an attractive value play. This week his matchup is anything but attractive, facing Janoris Jenkins. The Rams' corner has shut down opposing WR1's this season, and rank 4th against them. This is an easy pass for me.

Brandon LaFell - Brandon LaFell is still a cheap value play, and should get a slight increase in volume, but the matchup is not great against Buffalo this week. Stephon Gilmore ranks as the 9th best corner, and limit fantasy points to opposing wideouts. I rather target Gronk and Amendola in the passing game.

Davante Adams - After a big volume week against Detroit, you might be eying him in week 11. However, he will see Minnesota's best corner, Terence Newman. He ranks as the 13th best corner, and until the Packers get things figured out, I am not taking chances in matchups like these.

DeAndre Hopkins - This is a primetime matchup, with Hopkins-Revis squaring off for some fun. Revis usually results in a fade for me, but he has been exposed at times this season, and Hopkins is very capable of doing so. Still, beware.

T.Y. Hilton - This is a push matchup against Desmond Trufant, but one I will not be taking a chance on. Indy's offense is in shambles, and I doubt Hilton can get anything going with Hasselbeck, against the 11th best corner.

Amari Cooper - After a tough beginning to the season, Darius Slay has improved his coverage rating, and now ranks as the 7th best corner. He will have a tough task against Amari Cooper, who has been easy to predict with the matchup. Cooper has capitalized on all the above average matchups, but has been limited when facing tougher defenders.

Sammy Watkins - A boom-or-bust candidate for week 11 is Sammy Watkins, but the matchup has him leaning towards being a bust. Malcolm Butler is the 13th rated corner, who continues to shutdown opposing wideouts. Odell Beckham was held quiet for all but one play in week 10, which was all on Butler.

A.J. Green - Mr. GPP takes on Patrick Peterson this week, and this is a matchup I will likely shy away from at his price. Peterson is one of the better corners in the game, and Arizona ranks 11th against opposing team's WR1's. With Green's floor, it is hard to make a case for him this week.

I love me some Calvin Johnson this week. I have a feeling the Raiders/Lions game is going to be a shootout.

Me too, this was a week totally different from the past. Lots of big names in tougher matchups.
I'm having trouble using my dollars as the high cost players this week just aren't as attractive.
