Noah Syndergaard is having an electric rookie season, with a 2.97 ERA and a 11.2% swinging strike rate. Syndergaard has a fastball for days, touching the upper 90s, and when he is in a groove it can be game over for the other team. While the Mets lack of run support is an issue for him getting a win, he is still a slight favorite. Among the top arms tonight, it seems everyone is in the same boat where a win is in question. Thor has plenty of upside with strikeouts, as we saw earlier in his start against San Diego, winding up with 10 strikeouts. Unfortunately, he gave up seven earned, but I doubt that will happen again today. San Diego ranks 26th in wRC+ against right-handed pitching and possess a 22% strikeout rate. A really safe option for cash games, and on FanDuel, his price adds to the play.

Jordan Zimmermann (R), Nationals

$8,600$7,700@Marlins3.1617.7%39.6%3+108

This is an option for the SP2 on DraftKings who can save you some salary. Jordan Zimmermann gets a very weak Marlins' lineup that is still without Giancarlo Stanton. Miami has a 20.2% strikeout rate against righties, and they've now tied the Phillies for worst wRC+. Even with Zimmermann as a slight underdog, he will provide a much needed quality start for an SP2. The strikeouts have been up greatly this month, with a 22.7% strikeout rate, comparing to a lackluster 17% over the previous months. Zimmermann is a safe salary relief pitcher to pair up with Syndergaard this evening.

The Blue Jays get a weak left-hander at the Rogers Centre tonight, oh boy... Russell Martin is one of the top options behind the dish, and even with high priced arms on the hill, he is not that expensive of an option. Martin has a .405 wOBA off lefties this season, and is just another bat contributing to one of the top offenses in the league. He is hitting .359 since the break, which is a nice change given the slump he was win before. In five starts, Adam Morgan has allowed a .388 wOBA to right-handed bats with five homers. Fire away north of the border!

$3,200$4,200Wade Miley - L.417.25216944

Jose Abreu is at a perfect price tag tonight, and going up against the lefty, Wade Miley, I like him a lot. Abreu's sophomore season has been a downer if you compare it to his rookie season, but still the bar was set very high. Abreu has a .330 wOBA off lefties this season, and Miley is an up-and-down lefty who can really struggle at times. Abreu has upped his hard hit ball rate this month, with a 38.3%, and a 45% hard hit ball rate since the break. He is a perfect bat to use to help pay up for bigger priced bats, and you are in no way sacrificing any star power.

With the trade that rocked the world last night, I expect Devon Travis to hit leadoff today. Jose Reyes is on his way out, and Troy Tulowitzki is on his way in. Travis has been solid against lefties since coming to the majors, and will feast on Morgan tonight in a high-scoring game. Travis is hitting .364 this month, and his value will spike tremendously moving to the leadoff spot.

Kris Bryant had himself a special night, walking-off in the bottom of the ninth on a shot to center field. The Cubs have been slumping, Bryant included, but that was a game to get them out of it. He is sitting at a very cheap price on FanDuel, and nothing outrageous on DraftKings. Yohan Flande is getting the start today, and he has allowed a .335 wOBA in his career to right-handed bats.

The appeal of paying for Josh Donaldson is tempting tonight, as he really is the elite play. If you can make him work, I doubt you will be let down. Don't sacrifice a few positions to pay up for him though.

Tonight would have been a great matchup for us to use Tulo in his new environment, but he will NOT be active for tonight's game. Instead we get to use the future shortstop of the league, Carlos Correa. He has been unreal since entering the majors, especially against left-handed pitching. He has a 26% line drive rate off lefties, with a 36% hard hit ball rate. Minute Maid Park has held a 122 park factor for right-handed homers in the last three seasons.

If you are looking for a value option on DraftKings, Cesar Hernandez of the Philadelphia Phillies is a great option. He has a .382 wOBA off left-handed pitching this season, and 14 stolen bases. At just $3,200, he is a great salary relief play.

Stepping away from the obvious offensive games for a minute, Andrew McCutchen has an excellent matchup this evening. Cutch has a .379 wOBA off right-handed pitching this season, with a 38% hard hit ball rate. Mike Pelfrey is allowing a .331 wOBA to right-handed bats this year, and a .361 since 2012. Cutch is one of the safer options for cash games in this game, but don't be surprised if this game produces a ton of runs from both sides.

With the lefty on the hill, Delino DeShields should jump back into the leadoff spot, where he has spent most of the season. Chris Capuano has allowed a .331 wOBA to righties since 2012. Capuano has been working out of the pen this season, with the occasional start, but has allowed a .387 wOBA. DeShields hits lefties at an average rate, but possesses a safe floor with his speed. He has 16 stolen bases this season, and he's only been caught twice.

Carlos Gonzalez is on an absolute tear, and it continued last night. He had another multi-homer game, bringing him to eight homers in the last 10 games. Now he will face Dallas Beeler, who has faced 87 lefties in his career, allowing a .387 average. He has a .418 wOBA off right-handed pitching this season, and like I said, he is on a heater. It is really hard to pass him up at these price tags. If you are worried about a mid-game trade with Cargo, as the Rockies plan to trade him before Friday, Dexter Fowler is a nice play tonight. He hits lefties a lot better than he hits righties.

I think the swerve off Fernandez to Thor in cash games. Lots of bats that you'll want to pay for tonight!

I'm loving me some Thor tonight as well, Jason. I can't get away from those Blue Jays bats tonight! Travis is my go-to second baseman tonight, and I'm glad you highlighted him. Martin is also cheap exposure. I'm totally digging Encarnacion's price point on DK, too.
