A Thursday slate with some pitching selections, what a pleasant surprise. Zack Greinke is going to edge out Felix Hernandez has the top option on the slate, as the King will find himself against the red-hot Angels. Greinke is going to get one of the league's worst offenses, and Vegas agrees with him getting an easy win tonight. Greinke has the league's best ERA, sitting at a cool 1.48 right now. The Dodgers second hand man has everything in his favor tonight, he is facing a weak offense, Vegas love, and an offense backing him up with plenty of run support.

Jose Fernandez (R), Marlins

One game under his belt and he is back in cash games. The numbers above are over his career, and he was one of the better cash game pitchers before his trip to Tommy John town. Jose Fernandez looked sharp after a jittery first inning against the Giants, but that is expected. The first start of 2015 was impressive against one of the league's better offenses against right-handed pitching. He averaged a strikeout an inning, and had a 12.4% swinging strike rate. He is a top young arm, who is going to be one hell of an ace over the next 10-15 years. The Reds are a middle of the road offense, who have failed to show up to the ballpark offensively numerous times.

Even with the Braves coming to town, and their rare DFS usage this season, Kyle Kendrick makes them cash game staples. Kendrick has allowed a .402 wOBA to lefties this season, and has an ERA close to seven at home. While the Braves don't offer elite left-handed bats, they do have guys that will make Kendrick pay, and also will receive the Coors bump. A.J. Pierzynski has a .345 wOBA off right-handed pitching, with just an 8.5% strikeout rate. He has an impressive 34% hardball against righties, and will hit in the middle of the lineup. If you are looking to go cheaper, Yan Gomes is a nice punt option against the lefty Brett Oberholtzer.

This is a very weird night for first baseman, while two of the top guys are on the DL, Albert Pujols faces King Felix, we are really left with Adrian Gonzalez. The rest I consider GPP plays, but Wilin Rosario has the platoon advantage. He is in play as well. I wish Gonzalez' was at the price of a few days ago, but it is what it is. The Phillies are just rotating bad pitchers day after day, and they recalled Severino Gonzalez, who allowed 23 hits to 54 lefties earlier this season, with a 35% hardball rate.

I will not be using Dee Gordon on DraftKings, but I will be using him on FanDuel - You can use Justin Turner at second base for a value option on DK. Michael Lorenzen is allowing a .413 wOBA to lefties this season, with a 29.3% line drive rate. He has a 7.03 FIP, and is going to create a ton of chances for Gordon to get on and snag some bags. His price on FanDuel is cheap for his floor/ceiling, and an easy fit there. Like I said, stick with Turner at DK, because Arenado is fairly cheap there.

Justin Turner is going to be my rock in the middle infield tonight, he is crushing right-handed pitching this season. He has a .461 wOBA off right-handed pitching this season, and has not slowed down. He has a 31% line drive rate, with a 35% hardball rate. Going up against a weak righty, he should have no problem. The move to the third spot in the lineup is also a great upper in value.

$4,500 on DK, I have no clue what is going on over there. Nolan Arenado will be in everyone of my cash game lineups, alongside the man below. He will take on lefty, Alex Wood, who has allowed a .341 wOBA to right-handed bats. Arenado has a short track record of mashing lefties since coming into the league, and Wood is average at best for Atlanta. Arenado is proving himself to be one of the better hitters on this team, because of his success on the road. Going away from Coors has had a significant drop on some of these guys' bats. Arenado has a higher wOBA on the road than he does at home.

Troy Tulowitzki is at a value price for being at home against a lefty. Not much explanation needed for this man, He has a .452 wOBA off lefties this season, with a .231 ISO. His hardball% is up in the tops of the league against lefties, and is an elite play tonight. Get this guy in your lineups.

The sites adjusted pretty heavily for Cameron Maybin, but I feel he is worth the price. Kendrick has allowed a .362 wOBA to right-handed bats, so really he is bad against both sides of the plate. Maybin is having an excellent season, hitting .297 with seven homers, and 15 SB. He is on a hot streak hitting .429 this month, with three extra base hits, and a homer. He has a .339 wOBA off right-handed pitching, with a 26% line drive rate. He slugs the ball and steals bases, giving him a high floor/ceiling. Kelly Johnson and Nick Markakis are also in play for the Braves OF.

Getting away from Coors for a moment, Yoenis Cespedes is your cheaper Tigers' outfielder. While he is not cheap in terms of DFS value, he is cheap compared to J.D. Martinez. With an ERA over five in the months of June and July, Pelfrey has scuffled from his early season success. Cespedes is crushing righties with a .367 wOBA, and a 34% hardball rate. He is also enjoying hitting second in the order, with a .444 wOBA since being moved.

Value time in Coors, Drew Stubbs is one of the platoon guys for this Rockies' system. Last year he had a .409 wOBA off lefties, with a .221 ISO. The only downside is him hitting eighth, if the lineup holds like it did the other night against Andrew Heaney. Regardless the amount of times lineups circulate in Coors, it usually leads to those bottom of the lineup guys seeing four at-bats. At $2,900 on DK, it is Christmas come early.
