Welcome to MLB GPP Stacking & Ownership. In this article I will give you three options to stack. Remember that winning a GPP isn't always about maximizing points but instead maximizing some form of points and ownership. As always, plays will be listed from favorite to least favorite of the stack.

The top stack tonight is coming off laying a beat down on a considerably better -- albeit opposite handed -- pitcher last night, but they lack sex appeal, and even with slightly inflated ownership as a result of last night's work, we're not talking about anyone at Coors Field or the Blue Jays against a lefty at home level ownership. They're joined by an offense that was quiet last night, but one that has been raking as a whole of late. The final stack is an offense facing a pitcher who hasn't thrown in the big leagues since 2013. All three stacks will have varying degrees of popularity, but because the Coors Field game takes place during the afternoon slate, there isn't a no-doubt stack that projects for crazy ownership.

Tonight's pitchers are a mostly ho-hum group, and none are very expensive relative to the highest priced arms on a standard slate. In fact, none of the starting pitchers have a five-figure price tag on either DraftKings or FanDuel. Cheap pitching will allow gamers some creative stacking opportunities with the top touted stacks below. Spending less on pitching tonight will also allow gamers to complement their stacks with big ticket bats. Despite the lack of star pitching, the totals aren't crazy high tonight. There is no double-digit over/under total and the highest sits at 9 runs after opening at 8.5 runs, per SBRForum. The tight cluster of over/under totals on this seven-game slate should create an interesting dynamic of well spread out ownership for all stacks tonight. The beauty of that spread is that gamers can go ahead and choose their favorite stack instead of fading an obviously popular game and hoping for it to disappoint while you apply game theory and go against the grain.

Nice touch on Nova's FIP so far this season, allows modest wOBA to both sides in his career. Love the Giants tonight, and hopefully they put up another big number.

Loving the Red Sox as a contrarian stack possibly. Like you pointed out, it doesn't SEEM like he has been bad, but I expect him to get crushed tonight. Well done
