Welcome to MLB GPP Stacking & Ownership. In this article I will give you three options to stack. Remember that winning a GPP isn't always about maximizing points but instead maximizing some form of points and ownership. As always, plays will be listed from favorite to least favorite of the stack.

There is a nice mix of superstar pitching, middle tier pitching and intriguing over/under totals. It's also a full 15-game slate, and the beauty of these full slates with a variety of ways to attack them is that you can select your favorite stacks and pitchers without being overly concerned about sky-high ownership rates. The stack that was the toughest to cut from today's article was the Blue Jays, so I'll elaborate on them a bit in the intro. They're at home, and while they're not facing a lefty, the superstars at the top of the order also hammer righties. The park factors are awesome, but the price points reflect the talent level of the superstars. It's extremely difficult to surround the top four hitters in the lineup with any semblance of talent. If it was clearly the top stack, that might be okay, but the the three stacks highlighted below have explosive potential in homer-friendly ballparks, and all of them are much, much more affordable. Without further ado, let's get to my favorite stacks.

I'm trying to stack the Angels but can't find anyone I like outside of trout and big Albert. I think using victorinos numbers back to 2013 isn't very useful as he has aged considerbly. I don't see the upside with giavotella either.
I'm rolling out Rae at 3k in his debut with the jays. Thoughts?

Victorino certainly hasn't aged well, but his bat remains very good against lefties. This year, he has a .361 wOBA and 130 wRC+ against southpaws. Last year, he had a .331 wOBA and 108 wRC+. Toss in his leadoff position, and I'm comfortable rolling with him. Giavotella can be dumped, but he provides nice salary relief and his upside is 100% tied to hitting around above average hitters against southpaws. Rea's struggles at Triple-A are a bit worrisome, but he has to do so little to deliver a positive return on his $3k price tag at FanDuel I definitely understand the appeal. I don't mind the move in GPPs at all.

If only I could separate Cron and Pujols in the Angels stack, but I still like it. It is cheap, so it can be paired with top arms.

White Sox are definitely interesting as a cheap stack.
The Angels stack is just an "insurance stack" for me. Their bats have been pretty quiet since the All-star break.
