Welcome to MLB GPP Stacking & Ownership. In this article I will give you three options to stack. Remember that winning a GPP isn't always about maximizing points but instead maximizing some form of points and ownership. As always, plays will be listed from favorite to least favorite of the stack.
First things first, let me address the game at Coors Field. More accurately, it's games at Coors Field, as there's a doubleheader there today, and FanDuel is opting to not include the second game in the main slate. DraftKings is, however, including the game in their contests. If you believe the Coors Field stacks are going to lay an egg tonight, I strongly suggest playing at DraftKings and fading, because as usual, gamers will flock to the high total at Coors Field and you'll gain a huge edge if you're correct and it falls short of expectations. If, however, you believe the game is going to provide fireworks and you don't care to be one of the many folks stacking it, and thus battling a ton of the same stacks, then I'd suggest playing at FanDuel tonight.
I did not include any stacks from Coors Field tonight. If you're on DraftKings, I would suggest using the stacks below, but I would complement them with some one-offs or mini-stacks from Coors Field. I do believe both teams will provide the fireworks that their gaudy 11 run over/under total suggests they will. There is also a bit more merit to using stacks from Coors Field tonight than usual, as there are a literal handful of aces getting the ball, and some gamers will choose to pony up for pitching and surround their ace or aces with cheaper stacks. That said, I believe the stacks highlighted in today's article are explosive enough to give the game at Coors Field a run for its money while leaving you in a position of having a lower owned stack and more money to spend on pitching.
