This is definitely a week where Colossus really picked up on the chalk plays for DraftKings, and put them in some solid lineups.

There are a few quarterbacks in this price range that I like, and Colossus pulled out one of them. Now I have been against Cam Newton in cash games before, but he is performing at a very consistent level right now. Last week's performance gave him a big bump in my personal rankings. His rushing ability adds to his floor and ceiling, and Greg Olsen is just about all he needs to tack on some passing stats.

The running backs here are the theme throughout week 7, Devonta Freeman lines up against the 32nd ranked rushing defense, and Todd Gurley lines up against the 31st, per Football Outsiders. They will be chalk plays, but two guys in most of my lineups. Colossus also adds Lamar Miller, who finally got touches last week, and made the most of them. Houston ranks 21st in rushing defense, making him a nice value play.

It is very hard to fade DeAndre Hopkins right now, who is getting volume at a rate like nobody else. Miami ranks 30th against opposing teams WR1, making Hopkins a very appealing play again. Willie Snead should be involved in a high scoring, passing style, game. He will likely avoid Vontae Davis, making him an excellent target for Brees. John Brown was highlighted in my matchup grade article as one of the top middle tier plays.

Antonio Gates gets the Oakland Raiders, and is involved in an all out aerial attack from Philip Rivers. His price is cheap, and if you have not followed the Raiders this season, they have allowed big games to tight ends in just about all but one, I am looking at you Owen Daniels.

Rams defense gets the Browns at home, and they are one of the best Cafe Value plays this week.

Using GPP Projections, we got a very little change. The chalk plays this week are so good, you will find them in all these base lineups. Michael Crabtree is swapped out with Lamar Miller, and he was also highlighted in my WR matchup grade article, and is rated as the 11th best wideout in the NFL. The Chargers secondary has one of the worst efficiency rates, and this is a sneaky good matchup.

The Falcons were the first stack, but the Texans had the best Cafe Value stack. They are under the Falcons by three DraftKings points.

For one, you are getting awesome value at QB, and pairing Hoyer up with two of the likely touchdown candidates for Houston. This is an elite stack for week 7.

Adding this into Colossus, we got a lot of the same plays mixed in, as expected.

Delanie Walker is the only new face, and is highlighted as an excellent value tight end. With the upside and floor of Gates in the Flex, I have no problem with Walker as my value tight end.

Love the line ups. Colollus really is the best in the business.

I think this weeks lineups are the best Colossus has come up with since I joined the site in week 2 or 3 probably. I worry a little bit about Freeman, just because his production seems like it has to regress at some point. But its doubtful this week with the Titans in disarray. If he does though, or gets injured for some reason, the few that fade him will probably profit big. Recency bias might be keeping too many people off Adrian Peterson, but I think Teddy is holding him back. Yeah, not much to say other than the first lineup especially should win way more than it loses in cash and possibly GPPs as well even without a stack.

Colossus really nailed lineups this week, love them all!

@Lox81 - He definitely can't sustain the touchdown rate, but as you mentioned this Titans defense is bad, should be another solid week. I like AP in GPP's, but not sure if I agree Teddy is holding him back. Looking at last week, Peterson still carried the ball 20+ times, just didn't do anything with it.

I really like both the cash and gpp lineup. Colossus is one of the best out there and has helped me win on draftkings. lol

I have to ask, i used to use the Cafe a few years ago and the info on here has always been solid.

If everyone on here is playing the same lineups on DK, then how would any of us ever win? I guess what I am concerned about is using these lineups then losing because everyone has the same lineup. What kind of success is anyone having using the Lineup Optimizer?

Kneeland, there are many variable in how you can come up with lineups which can vary with each person.

As far as this lineup, when it came out I joined a double up that was almost full. Hoping that helps with people trying to jump in with possibly the same lineup. Granted, everyone can change their line-ups after the fact but I feel they are less likely too once they are in.

I usually get a base 25 line ups for GPP and Cash games with my settings, stacks, games selected, exposure, etc. From there, I will use a base lineup I like, and make 1-3 changes to it.

I really like both lineups a lot. Colossus plugged in a ton of the staples of my lineups (Gurley/Freeman/Hopkins) while adding some other really strong plays.

@Kneeland13 - I think I understand what you're saying, but there are plenty of changes users make to Colossus when running it. The different filters, models, and locks/excluding usually keep things pretty different. It is a good source to get a base lineup and make tweaks.
