Much like Colossus with DraftKings, we are pulling in the popular plays on FanDuel. Using cash game projections, Colossus paid up at running back, with Le'Veon Bell, and Devonta Freeman. Freeman is one of the top all around plays this week, while as good as Bell is, Todd Gurley is sitting $2,000 cheaper. Just a thought when using this as a base.
Cam Newton is worked into another cash game lineup, and with his consistent floor, I don't mind the idea. His run game adds to the upside, and even with the Eagles being ranked fairly high, I find them to be slightly overrated.
These WR's were highlighted in my WR Matchup Grade article, with all favorable matchups, outside of Steve Smith. The Ravens' wideout has a lot going for him this season, being one of the higher rated WR, and also seeing a ton of targets. I do like him for the price, even against Patrick Peterson. Brown and Crabtree have two matchups they an feast on, in vertical offenses. The value there should be excellent.
Antonio Gates is another chalk play this week, with his salary still very low, while facing a bad Raiders defense. Tight ends have scorched Oakland this season, and that should be no different. As for the kicker, I have no issue punting here, and with Miami moving the ball finally, Franks should put up some points.
The Rams are one of my favorite value defenses this week, and at home against the Browns, they should come away with some solid points.
Using GPP Projections, we make two simple switches. Todd Gurley faces the 31st ranked rushing defense in the league, and is a bit cheaper, allowing us to upgrade John Brown to Larry Fitzgerald. I love the passing game for Arizona, and both Brown and Fitzgerald should post solid lines. The Atlanta stack has been popular this season, even with Julio Jones taking a backseat with the injury in the last few weeks. He still has plenty of upside, but Devonta Freeman has added another dimension to this offense. This is fit for GPP's, and less for cash games. Also note Freeman works very well in the passing game.Colossus generated this lineup around the stack, and we are sticking with the same base as the rest. The only deep value play here is Theo Riddick, which makes sense with Colossus paying up for Julio Jones. Riddick has been great in the passing game, and with no running game in Detroit, this should continue. His floor is about what's projected. (11 FDP) But if he finds the end zone, that is a huge pay off.DFC Stacking Generator: https://www.dailyfantasycafe.com/tools/stackgenerator/nfl
