John Tavares$9,100 / C$8,000 / C17-22%
Ryan Strome$5,000 / RW$4,600 / C8-13%
Anders Lee$5,600 / LW$4,800 / C12-17%

Three supremely talented offensive players skating together, and if only Draftkings would clue in and give Strome and Lee eligibility at winger. The season is still very young, but the Islanders are top 5 in goals for per game right now, and get to face the Blue Jackets who are an absolute mess right now, allowing a league high five goals per game. I do expect the Jackets to turn it around, whether or not head coach Todd Richards is around for that remains to be seen. If you're looking for defensemen to stack with NYI forwards, start with Marek Zidlicky who's priced well below his value, and skates on the #1 powerplay unit with the Tavares line. Nick Leddy and Johnny Boychuk also make great plays on D, as the Jackets have been victimized on the powerplay so far this year, with the 2nd to last ranked penalty kill.

Alex Ovechkin$9,600 / LW$9,100 / W20-25%
Evgeni Kuznetsov$5,900 / C$5,100 / C5-10%
TJ Oshie$6,000 / RW$5,400 / W10-15%

This newly formed like has looked exceptional together, and combined for a couple goals last game against Carolina. Washington also has the 2nd ranked powerplay so far this season, where all three see time, especially Ovechkin and Oshie. Calgary has one of the most stacked defensive cores on paper in the whole league, but they've allowed the 7th most shots on net per game so far this season, for an average of 32. If you're playing on Fanduel, Nicklas Backstrom ($6,200), is a fantastic play as well, he had three points in his first game back from injury on Saturday, and plays on the powerplay with Ovy and Oshie. For some reason, he's not in the active player pool on Draftkings yet, so you can't play him there. If you're looking to stack some defenseman on Washington, John Carlson and Matt Niskanen are both great fantasy options.

Jamie Benn$8,700 / LW$7,600 / W20-25%
Tyler Seguin$8,600 / C$8,300 / C20-25%
Patrick Sharp$7,200 / RW$5,700 / W10-15%

This line will likely have the highest ownership of anyone tonight, and for very good reason. Seguin and Benn are doing what they always do so far this season, dominate and put up points. Sharp was put on their line last game, and also plays on the power play with them. Fade Benn and Seguin in cash games at your own risk. Dallas has the third ranked power play this year, so Jason Spezza, John Klingberg, Mattias Janmark, Cody Eakin and Jason Demers are all in play as well for very reasonable salaries.

Ondrej Palat$6,000 / LW$4,800 / W5-10%
Tyler Johnson$7,200 / C$6,100 / C8-13%
Nikita Kucherov$6,500 / RW$5,600 / W7-12%

'The Triplets' have been a bit of a letdown so far this year, but I expect them to return to being one of the most productive lines in hockey sooner than later. Their slow start should keep their ownership down, especially on Fanduel where they're still priced as front line players. They will be one of my favorite stacks on Draftkings tonight, as a tough match up with Nashville will keep their ownership under 10% in tournaments.

NameFD Salary/PositionDK Salary/PositionEstimated Ownership
Max Domi$4,600/ LW$5,200 / C3-8%
Martin Hanzal$4,800 / C$4,300 / C0-5%
Anthony Duclair$4,300 / RW$3,900 / W2-7%

All three play on the power play together, along with defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson, who is an awesome play tonight on both sites. Domi plays on a different line 5 on 5, but all three players are off to hot starts and producing at even strength and with the man advantage. Domi played over 20 minutes in his last game, a great sign of how highly the coaching staff thinks of him. New Jersey has the third worst penalty kill so far this season, so expect the Coyotes to capitalize on their chances.

NameFD Salary/PositionDK Salary/PositionEstimated Ownership
Michael Raffl$4,700/ LW$3,900 / W3-8%
Claude Giroux$7,900 / C$6,700 / C15-20%
Jacob Voracek$7,500 / RW$6,400 / W12-17%

In what's expected to be a high scoring affair, I like the Flyers and Stars to be trading chances all night, and the Flyers top unit is a very intriguing play. Dallas has struggled on the penalty kill and are giving up over 31 shots a game. If you want to stack a defenceman with this group, go with Mark Streit or Michael Del Zotto.

Love the Islanders, and the Flyers are a nice pivot from the big named teams. Good stuff, Ryan!
