Los Angeles Chargers Roster 2024

Record: 5-12
Conference : AFC
Division : West

A long era of Philip Rivers is now over, and they drafted Justin Herbert to be the future quarterback. However, Tyrod Taylor will take the reigns in the meantime. Both will have a high receiving core to throw to. Mike Williams is a significant deep threat, and Keenan Allen will give them some safety in shorter routes, but he is also an excellent route-runner. Hunter Henry and Austin Ekeler also are going to be easy options to throw to. The backup running back role will be interesting because it is split between Josh Kelley and Justin Jackson. This will be a battle to watch all season as it could be a hot-hand scenario.

The defense has the potential to be one of the best in the league. They have a great offensive line with Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. The addition of Jerry Tillery should open this up as well. Now the secondary is what stands out. Chris Harris now joins Casey Hayward in the secondary, and you also have Derwin James. This is going to be tough for opposing pass offenses to move the ball.
